Tucked away from Kyoto’s usual crowds, Kasagiyama Natural Park felt like a sacred secret. I hiked through cedar-lined trails, then suddenly—sakura! You can see trains passing by from the cutely colored iron bridge, making it a great spot to interact with nature at your own pace. Kasagi also has many hiking trails where you can enjoy the changing scenery of the four seasons. At Kasagi Temple, you can see a giant Buddha painted on a large rock.
