I originally went for the fig tart that looks like a jewelry box, but the staff recommended the seasonal parfait with figs, so I ordered that as well. It is a 304m high mountain on the border between Takasago and Kakogawa in Hyogo Prefecture, called Harima Fuji. It is called "Harima Fuji" because it looks like Mt. Fuji when viewed from Kakogawa (the southeast side of the mountain). There seem to be several routes to the summit! My mother, who climbs the mountain every week, took me to see the sunrise, and we climbed from a path that was not a beginner's route. I almost gave up halfway through, but I was moved by the view from the summit and felt a sense of accomplishment. The course was harder than we expected, with lots of ups and downs and lots of rocky areas, but the sense of accomplishment when we reached the top was exceptional! There were many points along the way where we could see the open scenery, and we were able to walk while enjoying the magnificent views of the Harima Plain and the Seto Inland Sea. When we reached the top, the breeze was pleasant, and we felt a sense of accomplishment and exhilaration. I was happy that both the children and adults worked hard to the end and were able to complete the course. Overall, it was a wonderful mountain climbing course that was thrilling but also had a great view. It was a very satisfying day as an outdoor activity for the family!

I visited a cafe called 'Room2 Coffee & Roaster' in Kakogawa City, Hyogo! 📍25-2 Jikemachi, Kakogawa-cho, Kakogawa City, Hyogo Prefecture This stylish cafe is a renovated traditional Japanese house located on the south side of JR Kakogawa Station! The interior has high ceilings and is spacious, making it very comfortable! The staff were very kind, and although I only intended to have a meal, the desserts in the showcase looked so delicious that I ended up having cake too 🍰. I loved that it can be used for various purposes from morning to night, as it is open from 8 AM to midnight! Both the lunch and desserts were delicious, so I highly recommend visiting!
