#getgoing2025 I was thoroughly impressed by the buffet breakfast at The Garden House restaurant. The extensive selection featured both Western and Japanese dishes, including unique offerings like clam chowder and a variety of pickles. A standout was the hotel's signature "fu" French toast, prepared fresh at the live kitchen station. The quality and variety of the food were exceptional, making it one of the best breakfasts I experienced during my trip in Japan. The attentive staff and pleasant ambiance further enhanced the dining experience, setting a positive tone for the rest of the day.

#getgoing2025 Stayed overnight while in Kanazawa between Kyoto and Tokyo. Nice hotel, maybe a bit overpriced, but location is great for the train. Was able to walk over and drop off our luggage before going out to explore the city. Spoke English very well and were very helpful with making a reservation. Lobby is very nice, were a little annoyed that we had to pay a cover for the relatively empty bars upstairs even though we were guests at the hotel, but maybe thats standard in Japan.
