Must-Visit Attractions in Hanoi
🌄 Tran Quoc Pagoda, Hanoi
Reasons to Visit: Tran Quoc Pagoda is a representative tourist attraction in Hanoi, renowned for its picturesque scenery combined with a beautiful lake. The architectural style of the temple follows ancient Vietnamese Buddhist architecture, featuring three main buildings and a beautiful garden. Inside the temple, there are ancient relics dating back to 1639, and many visitors find spiritual peace and tranquility here. Additionally, the intricately carved statues and decorations leave a deep impression on visitors.
Drawbacks: Some visitors may find the temple somewhat crowded, but overall, the experience is highly satisfying.
Visit Surprise Cave In Halong Bay Vietnam🇻🇳✨
If you are currently visiting Hanoi in Vietnam don’t forget to take a 1day trip to Halong Bay. To going to Halong Bay you can join 1 day trip or stay at the cruise for 2D1N or 3D2N.
This time, me and my mom are come to our 1st destination in Halong Bay; Hang Sung Sot Cave. Hang Sung Sot Cave is an Icon of Halong Bay. This cave also known as Surprise Cave.
In this cave there are several stones that resemble animals, for example the dragon on the cave ceiling. Halong itself in Vietnamese means descending dragon.
Sung Sot Cave is a cave in a limestone massif. The path to the cave is through the forest greenery; you must climb 50 stone steps and then descend 10 stone steps to reach the entrance.
I highly recommend you to visit Halong Bay & Surprise Cave!

🇻🇳Our Hanoi Happenings🇻🇳
On our final UNESCO World Heritage site of the Halong Bay tour. We arrive at…
Titop Island~It is a small, picturesque island known for its beautiful beaches and stunning views of the surrounding bay.
This island was named by the most respectful hero of Vietnam, President Ho Chi Minh, after the Russian cosmonaut Gherman Titov on the occasion of his first visit to Halong Bay in 1962. We walk around for a bit and see many people on the beach, but we are going to climb for a bit to see the view💙

A truly amazing cave a must-see on our trip. Located in the UNESCO World Heritage area, the Hang Sung Sot is one of the finest and widest grottoes of Ha Long Bay and is only accessible by boat. It involves a bit of climbing but easily doable

I love spending my afternoon chilling here #beachlife

best viewpoint in Cat Ba island
#2023travelwish
this is one of the must visit places in Cat Ba island. there are 3 viewpoints. this place also has some historical significances, the cannons were transported from france to Vietnam, and they were all built by the French. we went up for the sunset, the entrance fee was around 50 dong, and the hike up was really pleasant, not too challenging. if you ever come to this island, you should def check it out! #tripblazers #beachlife
Beautiful Lan Ha Bay
If you are going to the north of vietnam you probably want to check out the world famous Ha Long Bay but i recommend you to go to Cat Ba island and check out this even more beautiful Lan Ha Bay. This bay is more secluded and less touristy. The tours from Cat Ba ventures take you to all the great spots in the Bay and are more affordable then the overpriced tours in Ha Long Bay
Cat Ba Island @ Ha Long Bay
Cat Ba Island is strategically located in the center of the world famous Ha Long Bay and Lan Ha Bay with a beautiful view on 1000 of islands. Two ferry’s go to the island from 6 in the morning to 6 in the evening. The islands has a lot of green and viewpoints and is definitely worth a visit so go check it out when you are in Vietnam. The restaurant on the island are affordable and delicious.

Titop Island, the only beach in Halong Bay
The next place I visited after Sung Sot Cave was Ti Top Island, the only one of the 1,969 islands in Halong Bay that has a beach (bathing area).
If you visit with a Halong Bay tour, the entrance fee is included in the tour fee, and you can spend time on the beach or climb the 450 stairs to enjoy the view.
The beach is small, so if you are not going to enjoy swimming, I recommend going up to the observatory while you are here :)
The stairs to the observatory are not that many, but the slope is quite steep, so it is quite tiring. It takes about 10 to 15 minutes to get to the top, and you can think of it as a strong exercise.
However, I personally think it was the most beautiful scenery during the Halong Bay tour, so I think it would be good to endure the short pain and go up. I also recommend drinking some coconut water when you come down! It is very sweet and delicious~

Cat Ba Island 🏝️
Cat Ba Island ⛱✨
An island about 4 hours away from Hanoi by bus and boat! Many people go to Halong Bay from Cat Ba, but I could only stay for one day, so I went to another nearby place, Lan Ha Bay☺️
I went on a boat tour, so I did kayaking and visited the village! The weather was so bad that I couldn't jump in, which was a shame🤣Next time, I want to stay longer when the weather is good! I still love islands🫶🏼lol
There were all kinds of animals on the road, and the doggies were sleeping comfortably in the middle of the road lol. They were too cute. Vietnamese dogs and cats are relatively fat, and I felt that they were very different from the ones I saw in the Philippines. But they're just as friendly😊But above all, it's refreshing to see scenery that you don't usually see in Japan!
And I stay in hostels (dormitories) all the time when I travel🏨 I can save money on long trips, and more than anything, I can meet a lot of people and share my best spots and travel diary, so even if I travel alone, I always choose hostels! Basically, there are secure lockers everywhere, so it's safe✌🏽
More than anything, it's a place where people who love traveling and people gather, so it's the best🌎
I want to explore hostels around the world! 😎

It was even better because it was a temple that could be entered for free~
There were many pictures of the pagoda in Tran Quoc Temple on tourist souvenirs, so I wondered where the pagoda was,
but it was in Tran Quoc Temple~
It was a good place to quietly look around~It's good for taking pictures because it's on the lake.
Beach tourism
Cat Ba Beach The beach is divided into three main areas, with a flat asphalt road running along the coast connecting areas 1, 2 and 3. The sky is blue, the air is cool and pleasant.
The sea water here is as clear as other beaches because it is located between two river mouths but has a moderate salinity that helps prevent sunburn even when swimming in Cat Ba at noon.
Haiphong City's high-end Vietnamese restaurant--Nhà hàng Gia Viên
This restaurant is a frequent gathering place for Taiwanese businessmen and a place for entertaining distinguished guests. It has a parking lot and is said to be one of the best restaurants in Haiphong. The dishes here are all authentic Vietnamese cuisine. The rooms have independent space and dedicated service. The service of the staff is also satisfactory. The price is reasonable. If you want to eat local Vietnamese food, you can come here to try it. #Local Tour

Haiphong Attractions--Pho Chieu Pagoda
This pagoda was built in 1953. When monk Thich Thanh Quang became abbot, he changed the name of the pagoda to Pho Chieu and only worshipped Buddha. It is currently the second largest temple in Hai Phong.
According to historical records: During the Anti-French War, the pagoda was one of the secret bases for hiding party cadres. From 1954 to 1955, during the years of fighting against the United States, it became the headquarters of the Haiphong City Public Security Bureau Chief. For a long time, the pagoda suffered considerable damage, so in 1985, Abbot Thich Thanh Giac, together with the people and Buddhists, restored and rebuilt the pagoda, making the pagoda look brand new and as spacious as it is today.
The highlight of Pho Chieu Pagoda is a small temple built in the lake, designed like the famous One Pillar Pagoda in Hanoi. It is worth taking a photo here. #Local Tour
Hai Phong Attractions - Chùa Dư Hàng Pagoda, the oldest temple in Hai Phong
Chùa Dư Hàng was founded in the early years of the Le Dynasty, which is now the Great Viet Dynasty of Vietnam from 980 to 1009. It was a dynasty that had the merit of repelling the invasion of the Song Dynasty. During the reign of King Le Gia Tong (1672), Minister Nguyen Dinh Sa (Chan Huyen) donated property to purchase land to expand the temple and complete the bell tower. It was not until 1917 that a major restoration was carried out on the present-day building. From 1995 to date, Master Shi Guangtong has been continuously repairing pagodas, building open-air Buddha gardens, and constructing the spacious and beautiful Fanwu Building. Despite the many ups and downs of history, the pagoda still retains its unique sculptures and architecture, becoming the oldest temple in Hai Phong #LocalTourism
