She said Grindelwald's dreamy slopes were a must-see (it's also a necessary stop on the way to First Cliff Walk and Jungfraujoch, so if you're planning to go up the mountains, consider staying here! The weather was absolutely perfect for viewing the dreamy slopes! Blue skies, white clouds, snow-capped mountains, and green slopes—the world is truly beautiful 💗 The air was sweet! It was a day of having Swiss mountain lungs! The little mountain train shuttled in front of the snow-capped mountains, making me feel like I was in a painting 🌍 I checked some notes sharing the best spots to photograph the dreamy slopes. The parking lot platform of the Jungfrau Lodge, Crystal hotel, a few hundred meters down the road to the right of the train station, was closed off in October with barricades marked "private," so no photos could be taken there. But if you continue down the same road, you can still capture beautiful scenery!

#2024Travel Review Stayed at Hôtel & Apartments Kirchbühl in Grindelwald, Switzerland. Since we rented a car and drove ourselves, we chose this hotel with a remote location but a good view. From the balcony of the room, you can see the magnificent Eiger Peak, and the beautiful scenery is unobstructed! Hotel Kirchbuhl is a wooden building. It seems that all hotels in the Swiss mountains are in the shape of wooden houses, blending in with nature, which is quite dreamy. The interior of the house is also decorated with wood, which is very warm. There is also a self-operated restaurant, La Marmite, where we have breakfast, which is very rich and has a variety of cheeses. As for housing prices, prices in Switzerland are high and accommodation is really not cheap. The most basic double room of 6 pings with a balcony and breakfast included costs NT$10,000 per night for two people. However, a better superior double room or small suite only costs an additional 1,000 or 2,000 yuan. When we got off the Grinderwald train station, we followed the signs to the top of the mountain, which took about 10-15 minutes to walk. After that, we took the cable car, which felt like we were in an amusement park with a view of mountains and grasslands, which took about 40 minutes. From this point, we walked for another 1-2 hours to reach the lake in the middle of the mountain (Bachalpsee). Throughout the journey, we heard bells ringing on both sides, which were the sounds of bells hanging from the necks of cows living around. Many people may worry that hiking on First Mountain is difficult, but in fact, the trail is built as a flat path. It can be said that whether we come to hike with our favorite bicycle, come with a gang, or even bring a stroller to walk on the mountain, we can do it comfortably. We will see that First Mountain in summer has almost no snow left along the way. We would get down on our stomachs and fly like birds, seeing the beauty of First from above. I really enjoyed the incomparable sense of freedom 🤍The process was not scary at all! There is no centrifugal force, and my boyfriend who is afraid of heights loves this too! Afterwards, we played Mountain Cart at our own expense🏎️ which was super fun! ! It's like playing Mario Kart in the mountains, very fun. You can stop along the way and take some beautiful photos. Then, we took the cable car back to the highest point and walked the famous Cliff Walk. We originally wanted to take photos on that famous platform, but there were so many people...we had to give up and queue up for the Flyer instead! This is a thrilling zipline. We slid down from the top of the mountain, feeling the wind whistling past our ears. The beautiful view overlooking below makes your heart beat faster! This is very fun and has the most queues. We waited in line for more than 2 hours before we could play it, and they also cut off the queue at around 2 o'clock, not allowing other people to queue, so I recommend everyone to play this first! After playing on 3 facilities and taking crazy photos, we were all very tired. We didn't play Trottibike. If you want to play, be sure to pay attention to safety! We saw several groups of people with scratches, and the safety signs all explained what to do if they were injured. We guess that many people get hurt every day which is why there are so many explanations ☹️Everyone really needs to pay attention to safety and not be too happy! Tips: 1. You can compare the prices to decide which facilities to use. 2. Don’t buy your tickets in advance! Another beautiful hike in Swiss Alps !! Grindelwald!! One of the place that not to miss when you are in Switzerland!! Adventure paradise, hiker paradise and biker paradise. There have so many things to do and enjoy !! I took a train from Interlaken to Grindelwald, and I used my Swiss travel pass for all kind transportations around Switzerland , but some mountains excursions cable cars are not included and they gave 50% discount. Then buy cable car ticket at the station ( if you have Swiss travel pass , half price that will be 34 CHF ) and if you want to do other adventures, you can buy additional package at vending machine. For me , I just went up to Grindelwald first to see mount Eager up close and hike surrounding until i come back . The scenery was jaw dropping and you will never want to leave the place . Mount First is undoubtedly the 'most fun' place in Grindelwald. Once you leave the town, you will find the cable car station at the foot of the mountain. After reaching the summit by cable car, you can enjoy a series of fun activities without any interruption all the way down. The First Cliff Walk by Tissot is an aerial walkway built at an altitude of 2171 meters along the mountain wall. Walking on it, you cross steep cliffs and rivers, and you can gaze at the Alps from different angles, overlooking the wonderful scenery of Switzerland. The mountain restaurant offers snacks and coffee; sit down and enjoy the view of the Eiger peak, which is incredibly beautiful. From the First viewpoint, it is a 50-minute hike to Lake Bachalpsee. The path is quite sunny, but the scenery is absolutely cinematic, and there are many cows.
