2025 Gili Meno Travel Guide: Must-see attractions, popular food, hotels, transportation routes (updated in February)

#favouriteitinerary I took a day trip to the Gili Islands in Lombok, exploring Gili Trawangan, Gili Meno, and Gili Air, each with its own unique charm. Gili Trawangan was lively and energetic, filled with beach bars, cafes, and people cycling around since no cars are allowed. It’s the best spot for those who love a vibrant island vibe. Gili Meno was peaceful and picturesque, perfect for relaxation. The clear waters and quiet beaches made it feel like a private paradise, and I even spotted sea turtles while snorkeling. Gili Air had the perfect balance between the two—chilled-out but with enough restaurants and cafes to enjoy. The island had a laid-back atmosphere, making it a great place to unwind. Hopping between these islands was an amazing experience, with crystal-clear waters, stunning beaches, and beautiful marine life all around.

#indonesiatrip Choosing which Gili Islands to visit during our family vacation with my parents was a tough decision, but I'm glad we settled on Gili Meno. This island truly resonated with us as a family, offering a serene and intimate atmosphere perfect for relaxation. Gili Meno provided us with the ideal blend of relaxation and adventure throughout our vacation. Each morning, we would start the day with a delightful breakfast by the sea. In the afternoons, we explored the island on bikes, choosing spots to spend our day. Whether it was swimming, snorkeling, lounging lazily on sunbeds, reading our favorite books in hammocks, engaging with locals, or simply enjoying the island's beauty. We would then bike back to our hotel and relish dinner together by the sea again. One of the charming aspects of Gili Meno is how everything winds down by 9 pm—no parties, no loud music—just quietness, allowing a good night's sleep. If you like Beach & Sun, love coffee and never spotted Sea Turtles then Gili Trawanggan is THE place for you to visit. Gili T has many fabulous resorts (very affordable price and free breakfast) just right in front of crystal clear blue sea. On top of this, there are so many nice cafe along the beach for tourists to enjoy. Do go to Turtle Points for snorkeling during high tides and trust me…you can easily spotted sea turtles, not only one, but 2 or 3 or more. Gili Islands is simply awesome…highly recommended
