Menara Condong Teluk Intan ✨
This Menara Condong in Teluk Intan is a unique and iconic landmark. The view on night there is fantastic, especially their ambience light. Ample of space to walk and free parking around the place in the evening.
In love with the view of the leaning tower at night that decorated with yellow lights on each level of the tower, very beautiful, in a wide plain area, when night comes crowds of people come to hang out by the tower.
You can climb the tower with the cost of RM2 per person and free for kids. However, the tower floor are only accesible till the second floor, the entry to the higher levels are restricted due to safety reasons. Overall, it's worth a visit for the view and historical significance. ❤️

We heard of curry chee Cheong fun and am familiar with plain Chee Cheong fun served with sweet sauce in Singapore, and those with meat or prawn or prawn fritters in Hong Kong.
However, this kind of Chee Cheong fun with dried shrimps and pickles - served with green chilli is found almost uniquely in Teluk Intan and you can find quality texture, taste with dine in area here at this stall ;)
do try it if you are someone who dines in places serving unique local food. Price Is affordable at around rm7 per pack. Best served and eaten warm!

Chill at Hotel with a Pool
#bucketlistreboot #hotelwortheverypenny #undiscoveredgem #swimfacilities
Did a search on google and Angsoka hotel appeared to be just one star - but was recommended by a friend to visit. Indeed, don’t be deceived by the star. This hotel is unique as it has a swimming pool that is well maintained (and one of the better maintained one considering that it is Malaysia).
Apart from the well maintained pool, it also has shower facilities which has hot water, again another surprise being here.
Do pop by for a swim if you are free. Interestingly, they also offer swimming lessons here so you can pick up some skills even if you are not versed to swim.

Famous Leaning Tower of Teluk Intan
📍Menara Condong Teluk Intan Perak
The Menara Condong (Leaning Tower of Teluk Intan) is a fascinating landmark in Teluk Intan, Perak. This iconic tower, built in 1885, leans at an angle similar to the more famous Leaning Tower of Pisa in Italy, though it’s much less known internationally. It was originally constructed as a water tower to supply water to the town and later became a clock tower.
The tower is around 25 meters tall and has a charming, historical feel, with a unique, Chinese-style architectural design. You can actually climb up the tower, and from the top, you get a nice view of the surrounding area, including the town itself and its old-world charm.

Pisa Tower (Menara Condong Teluk Intan) in Anson,Perak,Malaysia
It’s the Malaysian equivalent of the Leaning Tower of Pisa. It’s 25m (82ft) and from the outside, looks like an eight storey building, though inside it’s actually divided into theee storeys.

Leaning Tower of Teluk Intan
#malaysiatrip Menara Condong aka Leaning Tower of Teluk Intan was originally built as a Water Tower as an emergency water supply for the residence of Teluk Intan and drought. Nice historical site to visit and with an entrance fee of RM2, one can actually climb the stairs right to the top of the tower. The remains of the steel water tank is still there with the main pipe being disconnected. While on the second floor and above, you can feel the tilt of the tower while walking around the corridor. A must place to visit while traveling to Ipoh, do take an hours drive into Teluk Intan.
Leaning Tower of Teluk Intan in Perak, Malaysia
On the way to Ipoh, we stopped at Teluk Intan in Perak. According to the instructions on the tour guide's sign, the Leaning Tower of Anshun was built on Tuluk Intan Island in 1885. Its earliest purpose was to provide drinking water to the locals, and was later transformed into a bunker due to its strategic location. Although there are differences in location, function and scale, from a certain perspective, the Leaning Tower of Anshun is similar to the world-famous Leaning Tower of Pisa in Italy. Both have experienced wind, rain and vicissitudes of life. He seemed a little tired after that, unable to bear the burden of the past. Although the Leaning Tower of Anshun is not the focus of most tourists coming to Malaysia, it is still worth a stop here to taste the local chee cheong fun.
2023 - Surrendering to the Flow of Life?
2023, the year I gave birth to my beautiful baby and I thought I’d be travelling less, but hey, I actually have been travelling more than I expected although it’s only in Malaysia. We went to several places in Perak, Perlis, Terengganu, Pahang & Negeri Sembilan at the time I thought, is impossible with a baby. The last photo is just me rocking my baby in the middle of a park in Ipoh😂
Hopefully we get to travel to Singapore this year!! #2024wish #justdoit
MENARA CONDONG TELUK INTAN
The famous historical building known as Menara Jam Condong Teluk Intan in Malaysia. The second annouced as leaning tower in the world after Leaning Tower of Pisa Italy. Build in 1885, used as a clock tower and water tank for British Colony during the time. It is 25 meter build up with outside look like 8 storeys, however it is only 3 storey building inside. Now, the building is more than 100 years and being as a one of the tourist attraction in Teluk Intan District.Nice feeling when you able to enter the tower, where you can see what's happening inside there. Inside the tower there are few historical photos, you can see the architecture.Tower open for visit during day time. Place have ancient history. Looks like got 8 floors but actually only have 3 floors. Got some birds poop on the hallway and I think I saw some small dead birds on hallway. Structures is amazing. I feels like I'm walking on incline path or it just me because have fear of height, after all,it is Menara Condong The night view is beautiful.i love the place , especially at night . Kids can play around and easily can buy foods. Best tourist attractions and I always love historical places, building with a little bit of research into the past.
First the tower is beautiful. Even though it dated back a long time but the maintenance is amazing.
From some angle it doesn't look like tilted it leaning. But once you move to different angle. You can really see it leaning.we had fun coming here because this was the first time. preserve its beauty and historical story as a future national asset.First time here.
