My photos are just about 30% - 40% compared to its beautiful. if you are in Vietnam or you plan to travel to Vietnam. Hang Va adventure tour from Oxalys must join. If you are strong, and did join many hikking or trekking tours before, this one is fine. but if you are not, you need to do exercise (running, climb the stairs...) at least 2-3 week before you go. I was a bit busy at work, so I didn't do exercise much before the tour. I just did cycling 2 times (about 15km each times) the week before I travel. The Priority Pass Lounge at Dong Hoi Airport was disappointing. As it is a small airport, there are few seats and one toilet for men and women. It was clean and had amenities, which was good. However, the food menu was very limited, and I could only enjoy light meals (watermelon). There were very few drinks, and the coffee was lukewarm. I don't know much about it, but it's said to be one of the filming locations for King Kong. Phong Nha Ke Van is really pretty. You should definitely go there at least once. You won't regret it.

Phong Nha Cave is located in the national park, about 1.5 hours by car from Dong Hoi. You can drive to the riverside and take a boat to the cave. You can also enjoy the cave by boat for about 1 hour. After the boat ride, you can go up to the land inside the cave and walk for about 30 minutes on the promenade. I've been to other caves, but I think this one has a unique advantage, being able to see the inside of the cave by boat and on foot! The mysterious and powerful scenery is so beautiful that it's worth going out of your way to visit!
