Apo Island is a 40-minute boat voyage from Zamboanga, Philippines, off the southeastern coast of Negros. A 30-minute motorized boat journey from the community of Malatapay, Zamboanga to Negros Oriental, will take you there. Because of the island's incredible marine life, Apo Island snorkeling and diving is the most popular activity. Apo is the epicenter of marine biodiversity, with colorful soft coral beds in the shallows and massive gorgonian sea fans. The island of Apo is located near the Dain area in Dumaguete, Philippines. It takes about half an hour to get a crab boat from the pier in Dauin. The dive shop in Dumaguete City can report a day trip to apo island. The package is divided into snorkeling package and deep dive package.
