We came to Damyang to see Juknokwon and Metasequoia!!! Hotel De Monde located right in front of Metasequoia! From the clean and luxurious lobby to the indoor swimming pool and outdoor barbecue zone it was the perfect place to stay when coming to Damyang Yeohyang!!! The daytime view from the swimming pool and the sunset view at night were so beautiful The indoor swimming pool was small so we could play by ourselves!!! I went on a trip to Damyang in Jeollanam-do 🚌 Damyang is famous for its bamboo, this time, I came to Juknokwon ˎˊ˗ , a famous bamboo forest tourist spot 🙌🏼 Opened in May 2003, Juknokwon is made up of 160,000㎡ of bamboo forest and has a total of 2.2km of walking trails 🎋 The bamboo forest is so beautiful and overwhelming! There are many sections such as meditation path, exhibition center and cultural village, including waterfall. I liked the way of meditation the most, it was very pleasant to walk through the bamboo trees. There are also traditional Korean houses where you can stay overnight. You can also enjoy the night with your family, play traditional Korean games or relax. Although 4 hours away from Seoul, this place is worth coming. If you’re a hungry traveler who look for some folksy and affordable food in Dam-yang, Go to the Noodle street. It refers to the street lined several noodle shops up which located side of Kwan-bang-je-rim being only 5 min drive away from Dam-yang Bus terminal. There has two typical local noodles which of a noodle served in hot anchovy broth and a cold spicy noodle. Hot anchovy noodle is served a big bowl with a handful of noodle and the hot anchovy broth that was brewed overnight and garnish with sauce chopped cheongyang red pepper and spring onion. If you’ve drunkn a lot the night before, You could feel your stomach better with its warm deeply flavored soup. #foodie #korea

The city of Damyang is located in the region of Jeollado and Damyang is greatly known for its Bamboo Rice and 떡갈비 Ddeok Galbi. This place that I visited is called 대사랑 Daesarang Season 2 and they give you a lot of side dishes here. Honestly, the side dishes were pretty average tasting but the Ddeok Galbi was extremely delicious.
