Beautiful place, seriously impressed. Drinks are expensive but the quality is also high. Super cosy atmosphere and they clearly put in a lot of effort to make everything great. Might be one of the best coffee shops in bandung. It might look small from the outside but when you step in, the ambient is totally different, They have a small garden which I found pretty nice and I like to seat at the counter where they put the coffee maker. A very easy 4 hrs trip from Jakarta to Garut by Panoramic Train at 6:30 a.m for an easy hike to Mount Papandayan in Garut. We can even climb by a bike trail costing about $15 that took us to an edelweiss bushland and further to the Post number 10 to witness mostly burnt trees with magical dark colour covered by thin fogs. The ojek driver acts as cinematografic specialist who will take your picture and videos as much as you like. Quite impressive. Stopped by at nice Sundanese restaurant on the way back to Bandung to see the remains of art-deco left over that are still well preserved like to Homann or a newly designed one - that Maison Wilhelmina place really shocked me to the ground, so trendy.

I went to Bandung, a summer resort in Indonesia! I'd like to introduce the hotel I stayed at there, as it was interesting. The hotel is called Cartel, and it's a very creative hotel. Each room is decorated with a different theme, and the room I stayed in was themed around Indonesia in 1945. There was a large panel of Indonesian money above the bed, and the TV had retro frames and a typewriter around it. They also have anime and manga themed rooms. I went to Bandung, located east of Jakarta. I would like to introduce the delicious Indonesian food I had there! The name of the cafe is Stone Cafe, and it is located near Lembang. I ordered nasi raos konplit with chicken and fish, and it filled me up. The night view of Bandung city from the cafe was just right, not too bright and not too dark. This was the first place that actually felt like it was in the woods or forest. And not just a few plants or theme. The air was fresh and best part the smoking and non smoking areas were differnt buildings almost 40-50 meters away from each other. This is more like someone's farmhouse. I came with a group of Indonesian friends so a lot of traditional food was ordered and nibbles to go with drinks as we spoke. It all tasted alright. Same goes for the drinks. We had been roaming around bandung on the bike that's when we saw a a name board with pictured of the sierra cafe and lunch time offers. Looked it up on the map and it wasn't too far. This was Friday afternoon, perhaps prayer time because no many customers here. But that worked out very well for us. The seating upstairs is lovely offering a nice wide view. For lunch we had an Indonesian chicken dish and a medium done aussie beef steak. Both the dishes were nice. Then we spent some time having drinks and strawberry egg tart for dessert. Moko hill. I am told that this is the highest spot in Bandung. I find this place very typical and breathtaking. The air is so cool and fresh, making me feel 20 years younger, walking up and through the hill full of pines trees, and also doing a little tai-chi exercise. This place is called the Top of the Star (Puncak Bintang), a popular place for doing selfie under a huge 'silver star'. The scenery from the top is fabulous: trees, plantations, houses in the distance, fog, and even golden sunset. Bukit Moko is located in Kampung Buntis Bongkor, Cimenyan, Bandung. It is about 12 kilometers away from the center of the city, you can reach it in 30 minutes or so. Your first activity in Bukit Moko is most definitely a little hike to the top. The trek is quite easy with paved road. It is actually good, you actually can ride your motorcycle there. you want a little bit more of adventurous aspect, you can also camp in the area. Spending the night under the starry sky does sound like a wonderful idea. The main attraction in Bukit Moko is definitely the Bandung city light. From this vantage point, you can see the beautiful Bandung City at night with all its spectacular light. The best thing about it is that you can practically enjoy the scenery all night long, especially if you also camp there. Bukit Moko is the best place to enjoy the Bandung city light at night.
