Rating: A newly opened hot pot restaurant at the intersection of Songzhu Road and Dunhua Road, specializing in stone pot and rice wine pot. The lowest price for hot pot starts from 348 yuan + 10% service charge, and credit cards are accepted. The environment inside the store is high and bright, and the seats are quite spacious. Ordering is mainly done by scanning QR codes, and usually one person gets one pot, with side dishes provided. The minimum payment for a pot is about 268 yuan + 10%. It’s about the same price as the cheapest main pot, so I personally recommend ordering one for yourself. The store does not have a fixed plate of dishes. After scanning the code and ordering the main pot, you can continue to order hot pot ingredients and vegetables from the unlimited supply area. This saves you from the trouble of having ingredients you don’t like on your plate. Choose your own plate and portion size! This degree of freedom is quite high.
The stone pot is made by stir-frying the ingredients, adding broth and egg crisps. The rice wine pot is made by adding a whole bottle of rice wine and a Chinese medicine bag. You can choose to ignite it or not. I personally recommend igniting it and waiting for it to burn completely so that the soup will be sweet. If you like, you can order another bottle of rice wine and add more slowly. Because the added soup is Japanese bonito-flavored broth, which is different from the original soup base of rice wine and stone pot. The taste will change after adding soup.
The seasoning area is also very sincere. In addition to the common chopped green onions, minced garlic, chili peppers, shacha, soy sauce, sesame oil, vinegar, etc., there are also grated radish, sesame paste and fermented bean curd sauce. And lay ice cubes on the bottom for safety.
Next to it is the self-service beverage area, which has 7-8 choices of soft drinks, smoothies, etc. Opposite is the ice cream area, where you can choose from ice cream scoops as well as popsicles. These are in unlimited supply. It’s not a great bargain compared to other hotpot restaurants of the same price range, but the food and meat are pretty good.
