#chinatrip We spent half a day exploring Beitou district while travelling to Taipei and this is such a quiet and serene destination to visit! It is just a 30minutes train ride from Taipei Main Station via red line, which is an easily accessible and reachable destination. We then took another train ride to Xinbeitou station which is nearer to all of the touristy spots. Famous for its natural wonder of hot springs, the Beitou district is full of hot springs resorts, public baths and even museum dedicated for hot springs culture, such a unique place to visit. Would recommend to spend a night at their hot spring resort, especially during winter. Some of the popular destination that we visit include the Beitou Park, Beitou hot spring museum, Thermal Valley and the beautiful Beitou library. The district is filled with lush greeneries and is really calm and slow paced! Lovely place to visit!
