How many puppies can you fit behind a toilet bowl? She hid not one, not two, but five of them! I don't know if she had to follow a star to find a Betlehem-style barn, but she decided to deliver her miracle at the derelict restroom in the backyard of the Soul Center (hotel/church/donut factory I stayed in during my Batuan visit). This toilet, or comfort room (as they call it in the Philippines), was not demolished during the renovations mainly because there were locals who still counted on it as a place to take a shower or to maintain basic hygienic needs. Jim and Arlene, the missionaries who run the Soul Center, knew that the timid dog was spending time around their guesthouse, but she was evasive. On Christmas morning, just when the first king appeared (oh my, did my last name finally get a higher purpose?), puppies found the courage to peek behind the bowl. Their collared mother, for whom there was maybe no room in the "inn", found shelter from the shitty world in what seems to be "comfort room" only by title. Chocolate Hills, one of the Bohol land tours! When we went, it wasn't a perfect brown, so it was a little disappointing, but it was still so much fun. There was no difficulty in riding the ATV, so my parents rode it well, and the staff took amazing pictures. It's really worth the tip!! It's a really cute monkey that's as small as the palm of your handㅎ

Located in Carmen, Bohol. ATV rent is 1000 pesos while the bugcar is 2000 pesos for two for one hour with a tour guide. I would like to say kudos for the wonderful service. The tour guides are very helpful and they make sure that we are safe. You also have a wonderful experience climbing the Chocolate Hills itself for 158 steps! But the view is breathtaking! Shoes cover is 10 pesos while the rain coat is 50 pesos.

I honestly didn't think I'd go through with it, but I did 😅 This experience was thrilling that's for sure. We got to the adventure park and booked the zipline and buggy experience. It was super exciting to be up high and seing the views of the chocolate hills! I loved every moment of it. Driving around in the buggy was super fun too.
