I went to Azumado, the only donut shop in Ama Town, Oki Islands, Shimane Prefecture!! The inside of the shop was very cute and stylish, and the sweet smell was spreading everywhere! I went to Ama Town, a remote island that can be reached in about 3 hours by ferry from Shichirui Port in Shimane Prefecture! The "Island Health Center" is located a few minutes walk from the ferry. It was a wonderful space that heals both the body and mind. There is also a cafe where you can relax with a wonderful scent. They also sell a few scented products. Please buy some as a souvenir. The shop owner, who is called the witch, is also very nice, and she has a wonderful smile that makes you want to talk about anything. She is really like a witch. I went to Kikurage Chakapon in Ama Town, Oki Islands, Shimane Prefecture! It's conveniently located, just a one-minute walk from the port♪ The name of the restaurant means "Come on everyone," and the islanders call it "Chakapon" and love it. The owner thinks of his customers, like "home cooking" where you can see the faces of the people eating, and is very particular about the ingredients he uses and doesn't use. I went there by bicycle 🚴‍♀️. There were ups and downs along the way, but it was easy with an electric bicycle! I visited Oki Shrine on the way, and was blessed with good weather. The view from the observation deck at Akiya Coast was magnificent, with the ocean, caves, and distant islands on the opposite shore.

I went to Ama Town, a remote island in Oki County, Shimane Prefecture. I climbed Atodoyama, the highest mountain in Ama Town! It's 246m above sea level! It took me about an hour to reach the top! There was nothing particularly special about the top, just a parking lot and a shrine. On the way up, there were lots of Oki cows walking around, and it felt like I was climbing with the cows! I stayed at Entô, a hotel where you can stay in the Oki UNESCO World Geopark. The glass-fronted room with an ocean view was pleasant just to be in. The ocean spreads out before your eyes, and you can enjoy the scenery that changes every moment. Just staring out the window was a pleasant space.
