2025 Agadir Oufella Travel Guide: Must-see attractions, popular food, hotels, transportation routes (updated in April)

When visiting Agadir Morocco, one attraction that is worth seeing is the Oufella which is accessible via bus, cable cart or a hike. In my instance I opted for the hike and can say the route from the beach in Agadir is great and very scenic along the way you’re met with various exercise stations too if you want to stop off and get some extra exercise in! When getting to the top you’re met with opportunities to explore the accessible areas and take a walk around Oufella which offers a view showcasing the coastline and hills that surround Agadir. Oufella is worth visiting alone just for the view at the top and is made for tourist of all ages due to the friendly accessibility options. #oufella #agadir

Agadir Oufella is a Famous landmark in Agadir, it is only approximately a 30 minutes drive from the beach area and the journey to there is beautiful due to the surroundings. Once you get to the top you can find tour guides who you pay a small fee to but when I went I just enjoyed the views myself and explored the ruins myself. Agadir Oufella is roughly 250 metres above sea level and agadir having a beautiful bay makes the view extra special. I would suggest you take a jacket or hoodie with you as it can get abit windy up there. There are also people there with snakes and camels which you can take pictures with for a small fee which I didn't opt to. since the last time I've been there I have been told Agadir now has cable cars that can take you to Oufella ruins direct from the beach and I hope to experience this soon. #agadir #morocco #landmark #oufella #kasbah #scenery

The cable cars will lift you from the base ( close to Marina of Agadir ) to the top of 236 meters mountain. Enjoy the view of Agadir landscape, city surroundings and Atlantic ocean, and discover the old Kasbah in the modern way. The Kasbah was built in 1540 to protect the city from invasions. The earthquake of 1960 destroyed this Kasbah, leaving behind ruins. The ramparts have been rehabilitated and the interior of the fortress is now the subject of major restoration work. The Kasbah of Agadir offers a unique panoramic view of the bay, town and backcountry.
