#summerdestinations my overall dream is to go on holiday. I’ve never had the chance to as my family weren’t as fortunate in the financial sector. I crave to be on a beach somewhere, feeling the sun with a cocktail in hand. I’ve never even seen a plane close up let alone been on one. Honestly this would be the opportunity of a lifetime and I’d be the most grateful person ever. My partner and I are in the same boat and would love to be able to fly out !
Meet the idyllic dream.
Borofield Cottage stay experience sharing
👍Recommended reasons:
Outside the hustle and bustle of the city, there is a quiet countryside waiting for you to explore. Borofield Cottage, a hidden gem in nature, weaves a dreamlike journey of pastoral songs for me with its unique charm. Here, there are not only picturesque scenery, but also a warm and comfortable accommodation experience that makes people linger.
Room type/layout: Warm as home, naturally integrated:
I stayed in a standard room in the cottage, and I was attracted by the warm layout as soon as I entered the door. The furniture in the room is simple yet elegant, complementing the natural scenery outside the window. The layout is reasonable and the space is spacious, making people feel the warmth and comfort of home. Especially the large window, which captures the greenery outside the window, as if the whole room is surrounded by nature.
Soundproofing/hygiene: Tranquility and cleanliness:
Borofield Cottage does an excellent job in soundproofing and hygiene. The soundproofing effect in the room is excellent, even at night, you can't hear the noise outside, so you can sleep peacefully. The hygiene is impeccable, the room is spotless, and every detail reveals the hotel's care and attention. This tranquility and cleanliness make people feel like they are in a paradise away from the hustle and bustle.
Surrounding attractions: A symphony of nature and humanity:
There are many attractions around the cottage, each of which is refreshing. Walking on the country road, you can enjoy the beautiful pastoral scenery and feel the tranquility and harmony of nature. Not far away, there is an ancient castle with a long history, telling the glory and vicissitudes of the past. In addition, the nearby town is also full of humanistic atmosphere, allowing people to taste the food while also appreciating the unique local culture.
Other tips: Details that make travel more perfect:
In the morning, you might as well go to the cottage restaurant for a hearty breakfast. Fresh ingredients and exquisite cooking make people feel the warmth of home while tasting delicious food.
If you like outdoor activities, you can ask the hotel front desk about nearby hiking routes and bike paths. Here, you can enjoy the gifts of nature and let your body and mind relax completely.
In the evening, you might as well look up at the stars on the terrace of the cottage and feel the tranquility and mystery. Perhaps, you can also find your own constellation here and get an unexpected surprise.
In short, Borofield Cottage, with its unique charm, warm room type, quiet environment, rich surrounding attractions and considerate service, let me spend an unforgettable pastoral journey.

During the barbecue process, the right heat and carefully matched ingredients make the roasted meat tender and juicy, with a strong flavor. Add some sauce and sesame to the barbecue according to personal taste, it is even more delicious. In addition to barbecue, Derby has many other food choices. Whether it is traditional English dishes or international food, it can satisfy your taste buds🍽️.

Beautiful ancient Kedleston Hall
Last month I had a chance to visit Kedleston Hall in Derby. It is so beautiful and you can find a lot of ancient stuff there from different countries around the world.
It’s a grand country house designed by the renowned architect Robert Adam in the mid-18th century. Commissioned by Sir Nathaniel Curzon, the hall is a prime example of neoclassical architecture, inspired by ancient Roman villas. The estate boasts opulent interiors, extensive parklands, and beautifully landscaped gardens. Notable features include the Marble Hall, with its grand columns and classical sculptures, and the Saloon, adorned with intricate plasterwork and paintings. Today, Kedleston Hall is managed by the National Trust and serves as a public museum, offering a glimpse into the lavish lifestyle of the British aristocracy during the Georgian era.
