Daegu is home to many churches, and this cathedral is the most famous among them. It is still actively used today.
2. Seomun Market

A bustling market filled with Daegu's local delicacies. It's a great place for foodies to enjoy street food. Popular items include flat dumplings, peanut snacks, hotteok (sweet pancakes), kalguksu (hand-cut noodles), bibimbap, shaved ice, and more.
3. Daeseong Elementary School (BTS V Mural)
📍 Address: 169-1, Bisan-dong, Seo-gu, Daegu
Located within walking distance from Seomun Market, this spot features a mural of BTS's V. It's worth visiting while exploring the market.

Located in the basement of Building 2 in Seomun Market, this place serves yukhoe bibimbap (raw beef bibimbap) for just 8,000 won—a steal! The sesame oil-based seasoning is delicious, and the generous portion is sure to satisfy.
2. Samsong Bakery Main Store
📍 Address: 1-3, Dongseong-ro 3-ga, Jung-gu, Daegu
Famous for its whole corn bread (nicknamed "drug bread"), this bakery offers a unique treat. The bread has a crispy soboro crust and a sweet-and-savory corn filling inside—absolutely delicious!
**Places I Wanted to Visit but Couldn't**
1. Somun Shaved Ice
📍 Address: 2105, Daesin-dong, Jung-gu, Daegu
Located on the same floor as the yukhoe bibimbap shop, this shaved ice shop is famous for its mango shaved ice. Unfortunately, the long lines made me give up.
2. Starbucks Daegu Jongno Goteak Branch
📍 Address: 58, Jongno 2-ga, Jung-gu, Daegu
A hanok-style Starbucks with traditional Korean architecture. The interior features floor seating, offering a unique Korean experience. Sadly, I ran out of time and couldn't visit.
