Taipei Komachime Curry Rice, an All-You-Can-Eat Japanese Curry Feast
Today I want to share with you a Japanese curry restaurant that I recently discovered, Komachime Curry Rice, located in Da'an District, Taipei City. The specialty of this restaurant is that no matter what kind of curry rice you order, you can get one free refill of rice and curry, so that you can eat as much as you want, and the price is very affordable, only about 130-150 yuan per serving.
This time I went to try their two signature curry rices, namely the Karaage Chicken Curry Rice and the Beef Curry Rice. The fried chicken pieces in the Karaage Chicken Curry Rice are large, with a crispy skin and tender and juicy meat inside. It goes very well with the rich curry sauce. The beef in the beef curry rice is also very generous, sliced into thin slices and cooked until tender and tasty, paired with sweet potatoes and carrots, stewed together in curry, it is full of flavor.
Their curry sauce is made from curry cubes imported from Japan. It has a thick and smooth taste, not too spicy or too sweet, and is a Japanese flavor that both adults and children can enjoy. Moreover, their rice is cooked with Japanese rice, each grain is distinct and fragrant, which goes perfectly with the curry sauce. If you feel that one bowl is not enough, you can get more rice and curry for free. The waiter will take the bowl away for you and then bring you a new one. This way you don't have to worry about running out of rice or sauce halfway through your meal.
Overall, I think Komachime Curry Rice is a Japanese curry restaurant worth recommending. The quality, portion, price and service are all very good. If you also like Japanese curry rice, or want to eat as much as you want, why not try it here!
