You must visit Curitiba when you come to Brazil. It's really beautiful!
Curitiba, a city in Brazil, attracts countless tourists with its unique charm, rich culture, and natural scenery. My trip to Curitiba was an intimate encounter with nature and history, as well as a profound experience of green ecology and sustainable development strategies.
The journey began at the Curitiba Botanical Garden. This French-style botanical garden covers a vast area and is home to a variety of tropical plants. As I strolled through it, I was captivated by the French fountains, gardens, and lakes, each exuding a romantic atmosphere. The Crystal Palace greenhouse, in particular, is breathtaking with its Art Nouveau architectural style, and the tropical plants inside are truly eye-opening.
Next, I headed to Barigui Park. This park is one of the larger parks in Curitiba and offers many recreational and leisure facilities. Here, I saw peacocks, parrots, and other birds, as well as capybaras, which are unique to South America. The greenery and natural scenery in the park were so enchanting that I couldn't resist camping and picnicking here, enjoying a leisurely afternoon.
Of course, the history and culture of Curitiba are not to be missed. I visited museums to gain a deeper understanding of the city's history and culture. Additionally, I went to the Japanese Memorial, which showcases the lives and contributions of Japanese immigrants in Curitiba, giving me a deeper understanding of the city's multicultural background.
In Curitiba, I also experienced the local transportation system. As the birthplace of Bus Rapid Transit (BRT), Curitiba's bus rapid transit system left a deep impression on me. The stations have a unique design, resembling pen holders, which is quite distinctive. Taking the bus to tour the city was not only convenient and fast but also allowed me to enjoy the city's beautiful scenery.
Moreover, the cuisine in Curitiba is a highlight. I tasted local modified Brazilian-Japanese cuisine, Peruvian shrimp juice set meals, and what is claimed to be the best burger in the world. These dishes were all unique and left me satisfied.
As night fell, I strolled through the streets of Curitiba, captivated by the night view. The brightly lit city exuded a vibrant atmosphere. I felt the beauty of the city, the leisurely and comfortable lifestyle, and a rare sense of security in Brazil.
Overall, my trip to Curitiba was an unforgettable experience. The city's unique natural scenery, rich history and culture, convenient transportation system, and delicious food left me longing for more. I believe that whether you are a nature lover or a history and culture enthusiast, you will find your own joy in Curitiba.
