The lake and its surroundings is great. It is like a ship stranded on a small mountain. You will have to walk across a hanging bridge which can swing here and there. haha. when you reach the ship, you will have to go up to the upper deck to have a great view of the lake and mountain. Go early in the morning to avoid traffic and crowd. It stinks of sulphur in the later part of the morning. There is a nasi padang restaurant on top of the ship. Around the area are some gift shops. There are two lorries that sells food also reasonable price. Cibuni Rengganis Crater. Had an awesome time here. Took the Gojek bike ride up since it will be a long way up and down. It was scary since the road is very steep. But we survive. Natural hot spring and mud bath available. The area is clean but they need to maintain it since there are many people visiting the area everyday. Love this natural scenic place. Its a fine walk in approx 1km and smells full of sulphur upon approaching the attraction. The village people there are nice and friendly too. Excellent place to visit while in Ciwidey area, with its cool and fresh air, surrounded with natural greenery, and not-so-wild deer to play around with. The landscape was really nice but could have been improved like better path ways and cleaner rest rooms. I think its best to visit during weekdays where there are less people in the facility. Fun experience to be up close with the deers. Have trip with the girls is the most crazy trip as well, we are talking without limits and finally we found cool resort in Ciwidey, Bandung, Indonesia. Guest what, the resort has hot spring pools! and in the middle of hills. The road was rocky and high pitched! But they offered pick up from some residents parking area. Strawberry picking with the kids. Another experience unlocked with them. Strawberries are weighted after picking and it cost us about 10SGD but we have 3 full baskets of strawberries. Some are ripe some aren’t. But i guess the whole experience beats everything else and we managed to show the kids where / strawberries are grown other than supermarket.

One of the more beautiful lakes in Indonesia. Very nice place for a picnic lunch, as you sit under the giant trees. Just a short drive from Kawah Putih. Not overly crowded. A wonderful place to take relax with family. it’s only Rp 75,000/person to enter all the areas and also take a boat ride. the place is cleand and the staffs are so frindly.
