Rabbit Hill - hidden speakeasy bar
📍- Yaowarat District. 1 Thanon Santiphap, Pom Prap, Pom Prap Sattru Phai, Bangkok
⏰ - 5pm to 12am
Ambiance - ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
Highlights - craft beers
Avg. Price per Person - 200฿
Rating - ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
We chanced upon this quaint little bar while on our way to Chinatown Yaowarat for dinner. And we popped by after a hearty seafood dinner for some drinks & snacks to chill the night away.
Rabbit Hill was a pleasant surprise once you enter the unassuming little red door. You’ll be greeted by live band and a sea of red. The interior decor is filled with red accents, dim lights, and packed with customers. It is a loft, we sat at the first floor so we can enjoy the live band.
They have a good selection of draft beers, beers on tap and crafts beers! No cocktails or mocktails. They also serve a good selection of Chinese and Thai finger food to go with your beers.
It is hard to hail a cab as the streets are pretty dark and quiet. Do get a grab or indriver on app before leaving the bar.

Magical Chinatown at Bangkok!
Bangkok Chinatown is the largest Chinatown in the world. It is also, quite arguably, one of the best Chinatowns to visit as well. While many countries have Chinatowns, none compare to Bangkok’s
Getting There - the best way to get to the heart of Chinatown is to take the MRT subway to the Hua Lamphong stop. Take exit one and you will be a short walk from Wat Traimit. You will also be a short taxi ride from the other must-see destinations in Bangkok's Chinatown.
Attractions - Wat Traimit and Wat Mangkon Kamalawat are two temples found in Bangkok Chinatown. Wat Traimit, also known as the Temple of the Golden Buddha, houses the world’s largest gold statue. This statue is on the fourth floor of the temple, surrounded by beautiful Thai architecture. Wat Mangkon Kamalawat is Bangkok’s largest Chinese-Buddhist temple, with roots that go all the back to 1872.
Hotels - Some of the best Chinatown / Yaowarat hotels in Bangkok are:
ASAI Bangkok Chinatown Traveler rating: 5.0/5
Shanghai Mansion Bangkok Traveler rating: 4.5/5
W22 by Burasari Traveler rating: 4.5/5
Food & Restaurants - If you love seafood, then Chinatown is the place to be in Bangkok. Head to the famous Yaowarat Road after dark to find some of the best eats in the city. If you are not sure where to begin, just follow the crowd. If you see a herd of Thais eating at a certain stall, it is most likely because of the amazing food. Fai-Kaew Yao Wa-Rat is one seafood stall that draws in some of Bangkok’s biggest crowds. There are numerous dishes to choose from, including stir-fried crab and sweet and sour shrimp. The cook is a crowd pleaser, shooting flames high into the air while diners look on.

Thailand China Town
In Thailand there is a big place called Chinatown which most of the people are Thai and Chinese. this is the best place for you to go at night time. Along the street mostly the very happy thing to see is eating. Most of the people come here to drink and eat seafood. Also you can have some Chinese cake and Chinese noodle. I really love to eat the food here. in order to come here you can trade MRT which is underground train or come by bus.

Bangkok Chinatown food hauls!
Bangkok's Chinatown, or Yaowarat, is a vibrant hub known for its excellent street food and lively atmosphere, making it a hotspot for both locals and visitors.
For good food, **T&K Seafood** stands out with its fresh seafood offerings, particularly the grilled prawns and crab. Another notable spot is **Raan Jay Fai**, renowned for its Michelin-starred Thai-Chinese fusion dishes, such as the crab omelet. Street vendors along Yaowarat Road also offer a wide variety of delicacies, from dim sum to noodles, all bursting with flavor.
The ambiance in Chinatown is equally captivating. The bustling streets are lined with neon lights, busy markets, and lively food stalls, creating an energetic and youthful atmosphere. Exploring Chinatown in Bangkok!
Our trip to Bangkok wouldn’t have been complete without a visit to Chinatown, and it turned out to be one of our favorite experiences in the city. The moment we stepped into Yaowarat Road, we were surrounded by the vibrant energy that makes this area so special.
Chinatown is a feast for the senses. The bustling streets are lined with neon signs, market stalls, and street food vendors offering all kinds of delicious treats. We couldn’t resist trying some of the local specialties—everything from freshly made dim sum to the famous roasted chestnuts. The street food here is incredible, and we loved the endless variety.
One of the highlights for us was exploring the narrow alleys filled with gold shops, traditional medicine stores, and tiny temples. The blend of old and new was fascinating, and we enjoyed getting lost in the maze of streets, discovering hidden gems along the way.
As evening fell, the area came alive with even more street food vendors and lively crowds. The atmosphere was electric, and we were glad we stayed to soak it all in.
If you’re in Bangkok, Chinatown is a must-visit. The food, culture, and vibrant energy make it an unforgettable experience!

Another place you shouldn’t miss while in Bangkok is their Chinatown, where you can eat what you want. They even sell edible insects such as red ants, crickets, caterpillars, and silkworm pupae.
📍Bangkok’s Chinatown, known as Yaowarat, is the largest Chinatown in the world and a vibrant hub of Chinese culture and commerce. As night falls, the streets come alive with vendors offering a variety of dishes. Seafood is especially popular here, stalls like Fai-Kaew Yaowarat serve dishes such as stir fried crab and sweet and sour shrimp.
📍Icom Siam
If you want to visit a shopping mall then this should be the ONE. There are many expensive brand showrooms like LV, Gucci and Apple store etc. The amazing foodcourt at ground floor has so much food that you even confuse what food should you eat. 😅 Everything about this mall is fantastic and awesome.
And If you are a tattoo lover, I recommend that you try going to this one place to get your tattoo done.
📍CALIFORNIA INK TATTOO
California Ink is a bangkok tattoo studio with award winning artists, can say best in Asia. The staff are all super friendly and very welcoming. Their shop manager also approachable and very open and honest about helping people to make their choice in decisions making and of course shout out to the tattooist. Their detail work are amazing!

Chinese touch at the night of Sampeng
A week ago my relatives in Bangkok drove me to the famous Sampeng market, at where you would find a lot of China related stuffs from roof to ground.
Eye-catching and bling-bling sign boards together with a typical hot weather at night, a bowl of traditional Thailand Kuay Jap kicked off our appetites at this old China Town in Bangkok.
The portion of Kuay Jap was not large though, it was still tasty!😋 We went on to try another street stall. We ordered 4 dishes in total. Of course the dishes were good and delicious.
However, since Sampeng market is a dirty and unclean place compared to other spots in Bangkok. There were many beggars around our open table begging for food and money, which was very off-putting.🤨
Moreover some weird snack-sellers would come near your table and asked for support and to buy their snacks with expensive prices, annoying.😒#sampeng #chinatown
Temples we run to
Had time to go Chinatown to pray to Er Ge Fong
Chinatown Bangkok
Chinatown Bangkok is easily accesible by BTS train to Wat Mangkorn Station. As soon as you alight the train just follow the signage which states chinatown and once youre out you will see many people there. Along the way you will find food and fruits stalls. Many shops and stalls to choose to have your dinner and the cost is averagely priced and the food we had was really tasty.
