[Saitama Prefecture] One of the Kanto region's largest power spots! "Mitsumine Shrine"
Mitsumine Shrine is located in Okuchichibu, Saitama Prefecture.
It is said to be the largest power spot in the Kanto region, and is a historic shrine that originates from Japanese mythology.
Normally, the guardian lions at shrines are dogs (lions), but at Mitsumine Shrine, they worship wolves, which they call "Oinusama (Gokenzoku)."
When Yamato Takeru no Mikoto, who appears in mythology, visited this area to pacify the eastern provinces, it is said that a wolf was a divine messenger that guided him.
There is also a bronze statue of Yamato Takeru in the precincts.
The main benefits of the shrine are protection from fires, theft, and evil spirits, but it is also said to bring success in life and prosperity in business. Apparently, celebrities and famous companies visit the shrine to pray.
The most famous is figure skater Mao Asada. She took this shrine's special white amulet "Kimamori" to the Olympics and won a medal, which further increased its popularity and created a Kimamori boom (currently, white Kimamori are not distributed).
It is also said to be effective for matchmaking and household safety,
so whenever you visit, the parking lot and people are always crowded.
By the way, if you are physically fit, you can get a special goshuin if you climb to the top of Myoho-ga-take (1.5 to 2 hours one way) where the inner shrine is located, and the benefits will be doubled!
Anyway, Mitsumine Shrine is truly a sacred place, and the atmosphere is different, so please visit it.
