"Tea House in the Deep Forest", Ket Village, Nan Province 🍃🍵
Come relax at “Baan Cha Nai Pa Luk” in Ket Village, Chiang Klang District, Nan Province. 🍃🍵
This is a small cafe in the middle of a quiet forest with a unique charm. It is located in a Tai Lue village in the middle of a valley, full of simplicity and warmth. The cafe is made entirely of wood. The atmosphere is like a friend’s house in the countryside. On the table, there is only warm tea and local snacks, but everything feels “just right”.
The tea served is organic tea from the village. Some days, you might try rice tea, mulberry tea, or wild flower tea, which the owner meticulously brews himself. If you are lucky, you will see him roasting tea in front of you in the middle of the shop. The snacks are local, such as rice crackers, banana cakes, or grilled dough. The taste is simple but perfectly matches the surrounding atmosphere.
📍 Location: Ket Village, Pue Subdistrict, Chiang Klang District, Nan Province
🚗 Travel: From Nan city, drive for about 2.5-3 hours. The route is uphill but very beautiful. Along the way, you will pass through small villages, mountain views, and rice terraces.
🕒 Opening hours: Approximately 10:00 - 16:00 (You should call or check the page first because it is not open every day.)
📵 Things to know: There is no mobile signal. Some people may think this is a limitation, but for us, this is the selling point of this place because it allows us to truly “live in the present.”
This is not just a cafe, but a place for us to sit still, listen to the sounds of nature, take a deep breath, and let the scent of tea bring us back to peace.
For those who are tired and want to escape from the screen, escape from the chaos, “Baan Cha Nai Pa Luek” may not be a luxurious cafe, but it is a place where our hearts can feel luxurious… without having to add anything. 🍂
