Xianxia Road
A street in Shanghai's Changning District that is familiar to Japanese people.
In the area that stretches from east to west from Weining Road to Yan'an West Road, there are many Japanese-style restaurants facing this street.
Not only are there restaurants such as izakayas, eel restaurants, ramen shops, yakiniku restaurants, soba restaurants, udon shops, okonomiyaki restaurants, curry shops, etc., but there are also night establishments such as snack bars and bars, all of which are lined with establishments where you can communicate in Japanese.
In addition, the nearby office buildings are home to many offices of Japanese companies, and the area is filled with office workers looking for lunch during their lunch break, just like in Japan.

Parkson U-City Plaza
A shopping mall in Changning District, Shanghai. Commonly known as Parkson. Located along Tianshan Road, it is directly connected to Exit 3 of Loushanguan Road Station on Subway Line 2.
The basement is like a food court, and is bustling with many cheap and delicious restaurants.
The floors above the first floor are filled with stores selling clothing, cosmetics, miscellaneous goods, etc. Many of the stores sell outlet items, including outlet shops for famous brands such as NIKE, adidas, and New Balance. #China #Shanghai #ShanghaiLife #ShanghaiStaff #ChangningDistrict

L'Avenue Centre
A shopping mall in Shanghai's Changning District. It is located in the lower floors of a landmark building with a distinctive boot-shaped design. Japanese people living in Shanghai call it the "Vuitton Building" because Louis Vuitton is located in the most prominent place on the first floor.
The basement houses the Hisamitsu Department Store supermarket and restaurants, and the ground floor houses various high-end brand stores and restaurants.
Perhaps because Takashimaya, Apita, and Nanfeng City are nearby, it is always empty.
On the top floor is Din Tai Fung, a familiar restaurant to Japanese people. You can rest assured about the courteous service and delicious food, including xiaolongbao. #ShanghaiLife #ShanghaiTrip #ShanghaiTourism #DinTaiFung

Happiness Alley - Ice Cream delight
Mishao MISSOO was a store I stumbled across while wondering through Happiness alley. Lining the walkway, are a number of restaurants and cafes so it’s nice to reach the end and find a cute little ice cream store - ran by a friendly local man.
The main person I’ve seen there is a local Chinese man who is always cheery and smiley. He communicates in both Chinese and English and is knowledgeable about the products in the store.
Mishao MISSOO has a small seated area inside where you can check out the photos of past visitors and look around at the German elements of the place.
Ice cream flavours are a range - I chose orange dream and mint chocolate.

Abendbrot German Bakery
#celebratewithtrip
Being away from Europe does make you miss simple pleasures sometimes, but Abendbrot Bakery brings you traditional German bakes and breads easily. This is the first time I’ve seen an actual cafe for the company as I’m used to seeing the pop up stores around in the malls instead.

Explore Shanghai's Hidden Green Spaces
Explore Shanghai's Hidden Green Spaces
Recommended hidden spot in Shanghai, located at the intersection of Yan'an West Road and Zhongde Bridge Road in Changning District. There's an obscure public green space on Zhongde Bridge Road, across from Li Ning Culture Plaza, Liu Haisu Art Museum and Haisu Green Space. It's truly a hidden gem compared to the more popular Haisu Green Space, but it's worth a visit and perfect for taking photos while you're in the area.

Hot night view, reasonable price 5-star new hotel⭐️
Shanghai Zhongshan Park Hyatt Centric Hotel
Shanghai Zhongshan Park Cao Yue Shangyue Hotel
🍎Location:
1555 Dingxi Road, Changning District, Shanghai, 200050, China, Changning District, Shanghai, China
🍎Local Address:
No. 1555 Dingxi Road
A sparkling new 5-star hotel that opened in 2024.
🍎The night view of the Oriental Pearl Tower was so beautiful that
I was sad to fall asleep or go out at night.
🍎And the room was really spacious!
♥️Right in front of the subway station (500m from Zhongshan Park Station),
It is located in the city center where you can easily take a taxi to any tourist attraction.
I think I was able to get to most of it in 10-15 minutes.
🍎The automatic opening of the first floor entrance door was also really cool, and the overall interior was luxurious and pretty.
🍎There was no cigarette smell at all in the room, and the room condition was very good.
🍎There is a gym and a swimming pool, but I couldn't use them, which was a shame.
🍎Cost: 200,000 won~
I was so happy to have booked a place like this at this price.

Stranger Things & Competitive Reconstruction
The Shanghai Oil Painting and Sculpture Institute Art Museum has a very nice double exhibition - an exhibition of works by artist Lin Sen, and an exhibition of works by three artists, Shen Ye, Han Zijian, and Yang Mushi.
[One] Artist Lin Sen’s solo exhibition - Meeting on the Road, is located in the exhibition hall on the 2nd floor. The exhibits use new sculptural materials and freer forms of expression, making them quite avant-garde. (Figure 1-10)
[Two] 3 artists’ exhibition - Reconstruction of Competition, located in the exhibition hall on the first floor. The three artists chose three most common ball sports in sports competitions - tennis, basketball and table tennis - to create their works. (Figure 11-20)
📍Detailed address:
No. 111, Jinzhu Road, Changning District, Shanghai Oil Painting and Sculpture Academy Art Museum.
🕙Opening hours:
Tuesday to Sunday, 10:00-16:00. Both art exhibitions will last until January 12.
[HeartBeat] Free admission, no reservation required.

Shanghai Loushanguan Road Station: A convenient base for sightseeing and living
If you come to Shanghai, I highly recommend staying around the Loushanguan Road Station. I don't recommend it for people who go back and forth between the tourist spots and the hotel, but I recommend it for people who want to see the local life. So what's good about it? 1. Convenient transportation. Subway Line 2 can go to both Hongqiao Airport and Pudong Airport, but Hongqiao✈️ is close. Line 2 runs early, so it's easy to get to the next station, Zhongshan Park Station, and Jing'an Temple, Nanjing Road, and the Bund in the city center. If you're familiar with the area, I recommend the bus, which has many routes and can take you to many places. 2. Convenient shopping. It's convenient for buying small foods and daily necessities. It's also recommended for people who want to go out in the morning to drink coffee☕️ and experience eating with local people. There are food courts and clothing stores near the station. There is also a Japanese supermarket called apita, which is convenient for travelers and allows you to see the local life. 3. It's safe and there are many restaurants nearby.
When you're done sightseeing, why not come back and have a meal?
There aren't many restaurants listed in the guidebook, but there are some that are open even late at night, and since it's an area where many Japanese people live, there are also Japanese restaurants.
It's an area with few tourists, but I think it's an area that's not too inconvenient for tourists.

The Youyou Center, formerly the Ramada Plaza, has undergone more than two years of upgrading and renovation and has recently made a grand return. "Hello! Jackson-Jacky co-created art exhibition. Li-Ning Center in the Rain
Yesterday evening, as I passed by the newly completed Li-Ning Center, I was caught in a torrential downpour and quickly took shelter under the eaves, where I also captured the beautiful scenery of the building in the rain with my phone.
The concept of 'Luminance Architecture' mentioned by the photography studio teacher during the class came in handy.
The Li-Ning Center in Shanghai is located at the new landmark Haishu Culture Square in Changning District and is an important part of the 'Hongqiao Fashion and Creative Industry Cluster' with a construction area of about 22,000 square meters.
The Li-Ning Center enjoys a prime location, seamlessly connected to Shanghai Metro Lines 3 and 4, surrounded by Yan'an Elevated Road, Inner Ring Elevated Road, and North Cross Passage, integrating culture, sports, and fashion elements. The building's exterior is also quite distinctive, and those interested might want to check it out.

Explore the trendy drinking spots in Shanghai and check in at Blac+Blac
You can easily enjoy more than 30 bottles of wine from all over the world. When did the prices in Shanghai become so high?
This blac+blac restaurant located on Panyu Road is such a treasure, with various special dishes that unlock colorful and delicious flavors.
Cooked and Drunk Prawns
The delicious Macrobrachium rosenbergii, paired with mellow wine sauce, has a unique and classic taste.
Spicy Braised Edamame
A refreshing daily side dish, it is slightly spicy after seasoning, crisp and delicious.
Grilled pork neck with pineapple and basil leaves
The crispy pork neck is perfectly matched with the refreshing pineapple and aromatic shiso leaves.
Mudslide Thin French Fries
Crispy French fries, paired with black truffle sauce and ketchup, are absolutely delicious and classic.
Warming beef soup
The weather is cold, and there is nothing better than a bowl of warming beef soup. It is nourishing and warms the stomach, fragrant and delicious.
Of course, the most eye-catching thing is the entire wall of wine in the store. The 99-yuan wine tasting makes wine lovers ecstatic. It’s really fun to taste a lot of wines that I like.
The self-service wine dispenser is convenient and fast, and the screen displays the sweetness, acidity, tannin and other information of these original imported wines, which is simple and clear.
The environment is comfortable and elegant, with wine glasses and bottles arranged in an orderly manner, and wine elements everywhere, full of a strong artistic atmosphere.
The air is filled with the romantic aroma of wine, making people unable to help but enjoy a moment of tranquility in the pleasure of being slightly tipsy. It is definitely a treasure drinking spot hidden in the bustling city.

Tsutaya Bookstore
Tsutaya Bookstore is located in Changning District, Shanghai. It is about a 15-minute walk from Jiaotong University Station on subway lines 10 and 11. It is also conveniently located and about a 5-minute walk from the Panyu Road bus stop on BRT bus line 71 (connecting the Bund and Hongqiao areas) that runs along Yan'an West Road, which runs nearby.
It has more of a photo spot atmosphere than a bookstore, and is bustling with people looking for books and taking photos. Japanese books are also sold, but there are not many varieties.
There are several other cafes and Japanese restaurants on the same premises, so it seems like a good place to stroll around or have a coffee break. #ChinaTourism #ChinaTrip #China #Shanghai #ShanghaiTourism #ShanghaiTrip #ShanghaiLife #TsutayaBookstore
