Ashby Castle Garden, Northampton
There is a beautiful and niche manor in Northampton - Ashby Castle Garden
The area is very large, and we basically walked for three hours without stopping to roughly finish the tour
It is relatively niche, with very few people, and it is very pleasant and comfortable to take a walk. My favorite manor used to be Darcy Manor, but I found that it has become very popular recently, with a sea of people, and the feeling of comfort is gone when there are too many people.
Moreover, if Darcy Manor is a luxurious aristocratic feeling, then Ashby Castle Garden has a melancholy and cold beauty. And it is exquisite everywhere.
The most famous one should be the Italian flower house in the first picture, which is indeed very unique in design, with large floor-to-ceiling glass showing the ancient trees behind, and the artistic conception is directly full. In addition to this flower house, the entire garden can reach the level of a scene at every step. I often look back and find that the road I just walked through is another style from the back.
There is a cafe at the entrance of the garden, serving lunch and afternoon tea, but the last order time is 3pm. There is also a small zoo inside, where you can see some magical little animals. The entire garden is now open at 5:30pm in summer, which is quite early, so pay attention to the closing time.
