Lucerne, central Switzerland, is a beautiful city surrounded by mountains and waters, one of the largest summer resorts in Switzerland. The small town was built in the 8th century. In 1332, it formed an alliance with Uri, Schwitz and Lower Walden around the lake. It became the first four states of the Swiss Confederation and became the administrative center of the Federation for a long time.
Shows a beautiful and beautiful landscape painting: the stream that is rushing to the bottom, the blue lake like a mirror, the tall and deep pine forest, the majestic snow peaks, intertwined with each other, and the beautiful landscape paintings are drawn. .
I finally got to the heart of Lucerne, but I still prefer her other name - Lucerne
want to take the most beautiful panorama of Lucerne must not miss the terrace restaurant of Chateau Gutsch Castle, this is a need to take a separate track The magical hotel of the elevator can take a panoramic view of Lucerne. Of course, if you can't stay at the hotel, you can also book a restaurant on the terrace. When you are having a leisurely dinner in Rizhao Jinshan, we also see the pink glow, which is perfect.
Lucerne, I would like to stay here for a lifetime
, what are the attractions, there is no need to do any Raiders.
Da Zhongma said: Lucerne is the pearl of the most beautiful clam shell in the world.
After I went there, I realized that this sentence is so appropriate.
The beauty of Lucerne lies in the mountains and lakes.
Go to Lucerne, you must not miss a boat trip to the lake. Looking at a house facing the lake and leaning against the forest, I really envy.
I dont think its a paradise.

Chapel Bridge Travel Recommendations for 2024 (Updated in May)
Chapel Bridge
#celebratewithtrip
We visited world's oldest truss bridge and happily ticked one item off our bucket list. What's more to say, the main landmark in Luzern. This bridge restored after a fire in the 90s still has some of the original paintings left in it. It's at the centre of town connecting the two banks and looks wonderful with the water tower beside it. Beautiful ambience. A bridge on a river with colourful flowers surrounded.

Dream come true @ Luzern
When VTL begin, it's time for real honeymoon! Thankfully we were able to secure flight to Europe. Luzern has been the city of my dream. It's rich in artitechture colonial building and amazing chapel.
The pictures was taken in the Chapel Bridge. We came here by driving our rented car.
Address: Kapellbrücke, 6002 Luzern, Switzerland
Ambience/Facilities: parking available nearby the place
Highlights: If you are an interior designer, you would enjoy looking around the buildings. Tourists will also enjoy the lively vibe where it doesn't seem quite but peaceful. Not much people pass by as this is tourist spot. Enjoy the beautiful scenery while it last. It turn dark very fast here during certain season.

🇨🇭 Chapel Bridge @ Lucerne
Located in the heart of Lucerne's Old Town and spans the Reuss River, the Chapel Bridge is one of the most iconic landmarks in Lucerne. The bridge is one of the oldest wooden covered bridges in Europe and dates back to the 14th century. It has undergone several reconstructions over the centuries. In 1993, a large portion of the bridge was destroyed by a fire, but extensive restoration efforts were made to rebuild it to its former glory. We thoroughly enjoyed strolling across the Chapel Bridge, soaking up the beautiful views, and exploring the Old Town on both sides of the river.

Strolling through the Old Town of Lucerne, Switzerland | Let's go as the flowers bloom in spring
| Let's go as the flowers bloom in spring.
🌟🌟🌟 In the city of Lucerne in Switzerland, there is a beautiful lake called Lake Lucerne, which is the largest inland lake in Switzerland and also the birthplace of the Swiss Confederation. The beauty here even surpasses that of the postcard cities. It was my first time there, and I was deeply attracted by the scenery before me, swearing to come back again.
🌟🌟🌟 Known as the 'Roof of Europe', Lucerne in Switzerland is a place you must visit. I especially love the Chapel Bridge in Lucerne, where you can stroll along the old town on both sides of the bridge. This time, I just happened to encounter the oldest Lucerne Carnival, a six-day carnival festival that envelops the entire city in a joyful atmosphere. It was the first time I saw so many people in the city, all dressed in strange costumes, appearing in the streets and alleys, with colorful confetti everywhere on the ground.
🌟🌟🌟 We appeared on the bridge in the late afternoon around four or five o'clock and noticed something unusual about the city. Later we found out it was the Carnival, and we were ecstatic, having never encountered it in our previous visits to Lucerne. I particularly liked their spontaneous bands, which sang at a level comparable to Irish bands, entertaining me for a long time, one song after another. As the lights came on, we didn't leave until eight or nine o'clock to return to the hotel.

Mount Pilatus Travel Recommendations for 2024 (Updated in May)
#tripaway
It’s overlooking alphachersee. The wind on the mountain is unpredictable. The train to the base of Pilatus is covered by the swiss travel pass, but the cog wheel train and gondola are not (but you get a discount). Both up and down are great rides in themselves, and there is some super hiking at the top (the flower trail is the best), and half way down the east (?) side is a summer toboggan run. I highly recommend

Pilastu Mountain | The Sound of the Soul
of the Alps is a different kind of existence than the Tiris Mountain. The highest point is 2,106 meters, not only overlooking the entire Lake Lucerne, but also the world's steepest cog railway train, and most importantly, you can hear the sound of the soul of the Alps.
Pilatus has two points to go up/down, so you can choose the cable car up the mountain, the cog railway down the mountain, or vice versa according to your travel plan. Because the plan after our Pilastu Mountain is to Interlaken, we chose the cable car up the mountain tow down the train, because the alpnachstad station after the cog train down the mountain is closer to Interlaken, saving us the cable car back. Sen went to the train station and took the train to Interlaken. If your plan is to play in Lucerne all day, consider this arrangement: take the boat to the alpnachstad station and take the cog train up the mountain at the junction of Lucerne 2, then take the cable car down the mountain and return to Lucerne city for sightseeing. In short, everyone considers the plan and then tells the staff about your plan to go down when you buy the ticket.
There is a ladder on the top of the mountain that leads to the highest point to see the panoramic view of Lake Lucerne, although the visibility of the day is not the best, but the looming Lake Lucerne who said it is not more beautiful. In addition to watching the scenery, there is also an interesting activity on the top of the mountain: paragliding. From the two mountains, the feeling of overlooking the entire Lake Lucerne is more exciting and more beautiful than the paragliders in other places. I recommend you try it.
Switzerland, Lucerne, Mount Pilatus
Mount Pilatus (Pilatus) is a mountain peak near Lucerne, Switzerland, spanning the cantons of Obwalden, Nidwalden, and Lucerne, with its highest peak (elevation 2128 meters) located on the border between Obwalden and Nidwalden.
Access to the summit is possible via the Pilatus Railway, the world's steepest cogwheel railway, from Alpnachstad, operating from May to November (depending on the snowfall date). There are year-round aerial panorama gondolas and cableways from Kriens. Mount Pilatus features Switzerland's longest summer toboggan track (1,350 meters) and the largest rope park in Central Switzerland.
During the summer, the popular 'Golden Round Trip' route for tourists includes taking a boat across Lake Lucerne to Alpnachstad, ascending the mountain by cogwheel railway, descending by aerial cableway and panorama gondolas, and then taking a bus back to Lucerne.
The name of Mount Pilatus is derived from a local legend that Pontius Pilate was buried here.
There are also legends of dragons roaming the mountain, with clouds and mist shrouding it all year round. When taking the cable car up the mountain, the first half of the journey is shrouded in fog. As soon as you break through the thick clouds, a scene of the sun shining on the golden mountain appears, with radiant light and a vast sea of clouds surrounding you. Everyone around, regardless of age, gender, or origin, exclaims in amazement, utterly captivated by the breathtaking view!

Lion Monument Travel Recommendations for 2024 (Updated in May)
When in Switzerland, choose Lucerne 😁
Stroll around in Lucerne for coffee and enjoy the beauty of the town just by walking. Do not skip the Lion Monument which will take around 20-30 minutes slow walk. Walk pass the old bridge and enjoy the river view with the mountain's scenery at the back. Craving for rice in Lucerne - head to Thai Palace restaurant in the middle of the city with tasty bento curry chicken. just yummy#celebratewithtrip
Stunning city with its medieval architecture
Lucerne is a city Switzerland famous for itspreserved medieval architecture, sits amid snowcapped mountains on Lake Lucerne. Its colorful Altstadt (Old Town) is bordered on the north by 870m. Museggmauer (Musegg Wall), a 14-century rampart. The covered Kapellbrücke (Chapel Bridge), built in 1333, links the Aldstadt to the Reuss River's right bank.
We flew in to Zurich and stayed here 2 nights during our Switzerland trip. The city is compact and easy to walk around. There are many interesting things to see in this city . The Lion Monument, Old Town, Chapel Bridge, and Glacier Garden are all within walking distance of one another

Monument to commemorate the Swiss Guards
The Lion Monument is dedicated to the memory of the Swiss mercenaries who, in the service of Louis XVI King of France, were killed during the French Revolution in Paris when the Tuileries were invaded on August 10, 1792, or who were guillotined on September 2nd/3rd, 1792.
The Palais des Tuileries was the seat of Louis XVI after he had left Versailles.
The inscription "Helvetiorum fidei ac virtuti" means "To the loyalty and bravery of the Swiss".
It is important to know that, in addition to agriculture and town-crafts, the mercenaries' service was an important and gainful trade at the time of the Ancient Confederation. At the beginning of the French Revolution, in 1789,
about 40000 Swiss were serving under foreign banners.

Most Beautiful Monument
The Lion Monument of Lucerne commemorates the sacrifices of the Swiss Guards during the French Revolution in 1792.
The monument itself is beautifully carved on the side of a small cliff, but the surrounding trees, foliage, as well as the pond, add a sense of peace and tranquility to anyone who visits this site.
Most of all, the area is void of any tourist traps or restaurants that try to profit off of the monument - making the visit very relaxing and genuine. Having said that, there are a couple of cafés around the monument if you need coffee or food.
The attraction is free and a definite must for anyone who loves art.

Lake Lucerne Travel Recommendations for 2024 (Updated in May)
Lake in the central of Switzerland
#winhkflight #lucerne #switzerland
Lake Lucerne is located in the central of Switzerland, is the 4th largest lake in Switzerland and one of the deepest lakes in the country. Surrounding Lake Lucerne is covered by mountains, lush forests, and lakeside villages.
To experience more than just enjoying at the side of the lake, I recommend you to take a cruise on Lake Lucerne. You will get to enjoy the picturesque Swiss Lake and its surrounding landscape. Boat tours on Lake Lucerne vary in duration, we took a short sightseeing cruise lasted for an hour. During the journey, we were recommended to take the boat in the evening to enjoy the sunset on the cruise itself, so here’s the recommendation to you too.
I want to travel to Hong Kong to enjoy sunset in a different country.
MS DIAMANT - Super Yacht of Lake Lucerne
Situated in central Switzerland, Lake Lucerne is the fourth largest in the country.
Cruising is one of the best options to explore Lucerne and nearby places of interest such as Viznau / Rigi. Among all the vessels deploy, MS Diamant stands out.
We had the opportunity to experience the this lovely vessel dubbed as “Queen” of Lake Lucerne. Simply gorgeous and it is the first climate neutral lake cruiser in Switzerland 🇨🇭
Why MS DIAMANT stands out -
Longest, biggest, tallest : 63.5m x 13.5m (L & W). 5 decks in total
Spacious : can carry max 1100 passengers (felt the exclusivity since during our excursion, the vessel only carried less than 15 guests due to low season.
Highlights:
🇨🇭Panorama deck with stunning views
🇨🇭Nautilus Cabin with submarine windows for underwater views
🇨🇭Revolving Lounge on the sun deck
🇨🇭Large, luminous gallery topped by an artistic glass dome
🇨🇭Aqua terrace on the main deck aft with lake water foot-bath
Tips for Lake Lucerne Cruise :
-Do purchase Swiss Travel Pass (cheaper than purchase individual ticket)
-The jetty is across HB main terminal (2 mins walk)

🇨🇭 Cruise across Lake Lucerne
#hiddengems
After a brief visit to Mount Rigi, we took the cogwheel train to Vitznau, a lakeside town on the shores of Lake Lucerne. We checked the ferry schedule beforehand so that we could catch the ferry at the right timing. The view of Lake Lucerne from the dock was breathtaking. The journey from Vitznau to Luzern via a ferry on Lake Lucerne provides a relaxing and leisurely way to enjoy the beauty of the region. There are seating areas on the open deck and inside the ferry. As we cruised across Lake Lucerne, we were treated to panoramic views of the Swiss Alps, charming lakeside villages, and the serene waters of Lake Lucerne.
