In Canada, it's great to see the fall foliage, but I recommend apple picking, which is a must-do in the fall. You can pick not only apples, but also pears, pumpkins, and other fruits, taste them, and take them in a bag. There are also many different kinds of apples that I haven't seen in Korea, so I was able to try them all and take only the delicious ones home. The apple picking period is from mid-August to Thanksgiving Day. Depending on the time, the types of delicious apples vary, but if you go around mid-September, you can pick a lot of ripe apples. Spring in Toronto always comes late. In early April, the earth warms up and plants gradually change color. Spring flowers, such as daffodils, hyacinths, and tulips, start to bloom, starting with small flowers on the ground. The Royal Botanical Gardens of Canada is located in Hamilton and is mainly composed of several gardens, each with different flowers blooming in every season. Early April is the time when cherry blossoms bloom. Toronto receives quite a lot of rain in April. The official website of the botanical garden reports that cherry blossoms and magnolias are both blooming. This botanical garden is very large and mainly grows cherry blossoms, magnolias, and lilacs. It has huge lawns and winding trails, making it a great outdoor destination. The cherry blossoms and magnolia trees in the garden have huge crowns and are quite stunning when in bloom. Last week was the peak season for cherry blossoms. Magnolias were also in full bloom, but there were still many buds waiting to bloom. When I first visited this garden at the end of May last year, it was the peak season for lilacs, and it was amazing to see many magnolias still blooming with leaves. It's known as a favorite Waterdown Hamilton family restaurant specializing in breakfast, lunch, dinner, desserts with a fully licensed lounge. Suggested by a friend from the Milton area, we would agree. The atmosphere of Symposium restaurant in Waterdown was so inviting and nice with super nice staff. It's cozy and actually beautiful with relaxing vibe and special Renaissance paintings on the walls. The menu had so many choices and breakfast brunch selection available until 4 pm. The staff were very good at suggesting accommodations for my partner's dietary needs. The eggs benedict and Cuban sandwich were yummy. Lots of side options like salads - but we went with comfort food this time with delicious sweet potato fries.
