Burgas is not well known city. It is the 4th largest city in Bulgaria, part of the European Union. Its airport is very busy in the summer because of its proximity to the main party destination in eastern Europe - Sunny Beach, Bulgaria. Burgas itself is one of the nicest cities in Bulgaria which can be seen in the pictures.

Check-in | Nessebar, Burgas.
In the ancient city, several representative churches are unforgettable. First of all, the Church of Christ Pantocrator is undoubtedly one of the most well-preserved medieval buildings. Its sturdy walls and elegant arches have witnessed the vicissitudes of history and show its unique charm.
Next is the Church of Saint John the Baptist, which is also well preserved. Although it is smaller than the Church of Christ Pantocrator, its exquisite details and quiet atmosphere leave a deep impression.
Then there is the Church of Saint Sophia. Although it has now become a ruin, the once glorious scene can still be imagined. Although the appearance has been destroyed by time, its historical and cultural value still shines.
Another church worth mentioning is the Church of the Holy Mother Eleusa next to the ancient castle. Although it has also become a ruin, due to its unique geographical location, it is built along the coastline of the peninsula, making the entire church dreamlike under the sunset. Whether from a visual effect or a photographic perspective, it is unique.
These churches are not only symbols of the ancient city, but also witnesses of history. With their unique charm and profound historical background, they attract countless tourists to visit. Every step into these ancient buildings is like traveling through time and space, talking with history.

Burgas - the second largest city on the Bulgarian Black Sea coast. LUKOIL Neftochim Burgas is the largest oil refinery in southeastern Europe and the largest industrial enterprise. The Port of Burgas is the largest port in Bulgaria, and Burgas airport the second most important in the country. Burgas is the centre of the Bulgarian fishing and fish processing industry.
As someone, who grew up in a small town just a 30-minute car ride away from Burgas, this was often an exciting day trip to take. To enjoy shopping and trying all the new brands being introduced in my country - still remember my first Happy Meal from McDonalds when I was a child; then my first coconut frappuccinno in Starbucks when I was in school - and think this is the best thing ever. But, most importantly, to spend a day away from grown up responsibilities with my best friend; or to get a glimpse into adulthood with my mother while having fun together in between business tasks.
Yes, Burgas will always bring back memories of a content life surrounded by loved ones and full of adventure.
In Burgas, everyone I met (even the bus ticket seller and the grocery shop owner) put on a white red wool bracelet - Martenitsa.
This is a festival called Baba Marta, which represents the arrival of spring and the blessing of the health of friends. The more bracelets you have, the more blessings you receive.
Now, I have 8 unique Martenitsa!
