Merbok and the surrounding areas are a gorgeous ecosystem that combined water and mountain landscape. The area situated near to the estuary, an importance place for both ecological and economic values. The area is of historical significance, with lots of evidence from the ancient ruins can be found nearby (have a visit to the historical Bujang Valley to learn more on the thousands years civilisation). Mount Jerai is located in Negeri Kedah, if you want to go there you need to take van from the kaki gunung to the top.
