Everyone, whoever booked a flight ticket through Trip can use the MIRACLE lounge for free before flying. Very impressive because there is a variety of food, you can refill as much as you want, it is private, and there is a bathroom inside the lounge. You can eat before flying, and then you can fall asleep right after boarding the plane.

The Malta National Aquarium may not be large but would it lacks in size, it makes up for in the amount of creatures that you can see there. For a start they have an aquarium tunnel which is really cool and lots of different tanks showing a wide variety of marine life. However they also have many smaller vivarria showcasing different lizards, insects and invertebrates. There is lots to see and discover. #celebrateit #malta #aquarium

We went there on Christmas. The aquarium had specially added a Santa Claus character in the water hotel. The children were very excited to see it. There were also other handicraft activities to participate in. However, the aquarium is not big, and it took less than 2 hours to visit it. There is an ocean-themed playground not far from the door. The children were also very happy to play outside.

This Ocean Basket is near the hotel where I live, about a 5-minute drive away. I saw many people recommending that it is delicious, so I came to try it. From the outside, it seemed that there were not many people inside, but after entering, it turned out that the restaurant has two floors. Sitting by the window, I can see the endless sea view at a glance. The seafood is also delicious.

Martina’s Review If you’re staying near Pebbles Resort, Martina’s is an absolute gem you don’t want to miss. This charming takeaway restaurant, located just to the right of the resort, turned out to be the highlight of my dining experience after seven days in Malta. Menu and Food: Martina’s offers a delicious selection of comfort food: chicken, pizza, mozzarella sticks, burgers, and more. My son couldn’t get enough of the Mr. Big Burner, ordering it every day! The food is made fresh to order, and the attention to detail is incredible. When I ordered fish, the staff remembered exactly how much barbecue sauce and tartar sauce I wanted by day two. It was amazing not to have to repeat our preferences—no tomatoes, two barbecue sauces—because they genuinely paid attention and made us feel valued. Customer Service: The service here is unmatched. The guy who works there (and seems like the owner because of his dedication) is phenomenal. He treats every customer with genuine care and has a warm relationship with the neighborhood. Adults and kids alike walk up with smiles, and he already knows their orders by heart. It’s clear that this isn’t just a business; it’s a community hub. He went out of his way to make my daughter feel special, like she owned the place, which was such a thoughtful touch. Atmosphere: The atmosphere is just as inviting as the service. The 80s throwback music added a fun and nostalgic vibe while we waited for our food. Watching the food being freshly prepared made the experience even better—you can tell they take pride in their work. Pricing and Hours: The pricing is fantastic, especially compared to resort dining. You’ll save money while getting better food and service. Plus, Martina’s is open late on weekends (Friday, Saturday, and Sunday until 2 AM), making it perfect for a late-night bite. Conclusion: Martina’s is more than just a restaurant—it’s an experience. The delicious, made-to-order food, top-tier customer service, and warm atmosphere make it a must-visit spot. After finding this place, we had no desire to eat anywhere else. 5 stars PLUS! Don’t miss it!

At the very tip of Qawra, known as Qawra Point, there is an old watch tower that has been partly covered by the ‘Ta’ Fra Ben’ restaurant built around it. You will also notice remains of another tower along the coast that has been left in its original state. These watchtowers were built by the Order of Saint John in order to strengthen the existing coastal defence system. Each tower was positioned to have two neighbouring towers in its line of sight, so that signals could be sent from one tower to another, in order to maintain a communication link between Gozo and the Grand Harbour in Valletta. The signals consisted of smoke or cannon shots by day, or fire by night. Between 1658 and 1659, a total of 13 small coastal watchtowers were built in Malta by the Order of Saint John, nine of which are still standing till today.

In January 2024, I flew to Korea for the first time. I flew from Suvarnabhumi. Trip gave me free lounge access for 2 people at both the origin and destination airports... I was very impressed by the Trip app that gave me VIP lounge access at the Miracle Lounge at Suvarnabhumi Airport. The staff provided good service and delicious food. It was easy to find and close to the gate, so I didn't have to walk far. When using the service, it was easy to check in by simply showing the barcode in the app + boarding pass to the staff at the counter before using the service.
