Unique and delicious experience at Chez Leon - Bruxelles Situated in the city center this historical restaurant is specialized in mussels place. It is a must if you visit Bruxelles, most authentic which was founded in 1893. Reservation is recommended as the place is always busy. Must try the started which is a mix of fried fresh fish and obviously the mussels. The prawn croquette was a little surprise for me I didn't expect it to taste that good. The quality is really unbelievable and is as fair prices thinking the good food and the central location. Table inside and outside. We had lunch inside in a really romantic corner. Really nice to know kids under 12 don’t pay here which is something very unusual.Definitely good value for money. A special on sunday is the all you can eat mussels, unfortunately we couldn’t get there on this day but still we tried few versions of their famous speciality. According with their story at the beginning of 1989, the dynamic spirit of the Vanlancker successors came to fruition with the opening of a new Léon resturant in Brussels, in Bruparck, in the shadow of Atomium. This is suitable for toddlers as the activities will suit this group of kiddies. From Central Nord station, you can take tram no 3 to Station Docx Bruxsel (towards Esplanade). Next to Sports Direct and the large shopping complex, it was a good place for spending time with families. However, please do not expect the place to be large as other Legoland theme park.....it was small but enough for toddlers or younger kids to spend the whole day. Entrance per person was €25

Beautiful mural which can be seen while walking towards the Mannekin pis. Its quite easy to miss as the street is usually crowded. Brussels is covered with beautiful murals and you can start your hunt with this one. There are other mural arts which are very near by this location which is visible while walking on the road. The hunt for the wall paintings is a must when you are in brussels. The train station that looked very nice inside but wasn't very impressive outside. They used the type of wall paving stone that make it looked old and dirty if you look closer 😅😅 It give me impression of a meeting hall rather than a train station. Other thing it might be an issue that was the confusion with an airport supplement ticket that we didn't know about. The staff who were helping us were a bit rude and they look like scary but other than that it was okay. Brussels is not a safe place for me specially near the bus station a lot of mobs look very strange and yeah the place is messy a lot of trash with broken bottles. #urbanexplorer

It's amazing! A real work of art, engineering and architecture. I've always been amazed by it, but, unfortunately, I never got the chance to visit inside. Indeed a very unique building that was much bigger than I was expecting and visually stunning. Such an amazing building constructed over 70 years ago for the 58th Expo. looking at it just makes me think of the architect who designed this majestic building with all those different dome towers. Imagine how much effort was put into connecting them. It still looks very shinny to me. I believe a lot of maintenance has been done to it to keep this fresh look. #urbanexplorer #valentinescape

Though the statue is quite small, it is adorable and the history behind this is quite amazing. Believe it or not, Manneken Pis has been around since 1619. You can't really visit Brussels without stopping by. You can see many tourists around this place and you can be here any time of the day. My recommendation is to get this visited as a part of free walking tour. This would get etched in your memories. People can’t see up close, but it’s totally fine to visit because you will see interesting places along the way. If you see this Manneken Pis statue, you can finally say “Yes, I’ve been to Brussels”.

I love that they have a wide variety of vennoiserie so I can try different thing the next time. The bakery is available for dining in as well. They do serve cafe and beans are from Tiong Hoe which goes well with the bakes. Highly recommended if you are craving for some good croissants 🥐

#celebratewithtrip Atomium, one of the most popular landmarks in Brussels, Belgium. It was created for the 1958 world expo which was held in Brussels. Walked from Gare du Nord for about 25 minutes to Grand Place and from there we took Metro Line 6 to Heysel/Heizel. The Atomium is just a few steps away from the Heysel/Heizel station.
