[Mysterious "Antique Shop" Immersive Retro Style Bar in Central]

Recently, an "antique store" has been added to Hollywood Road. When I went in, I discovered that there is Qiankun inside. This is actually an antique bar with a high degree of privacy. It is decorated like a bank in the 1950s, with yellowish lights, The antique-style sofas and the design of the large vault make people admire it like a trance. Maggie Choo's is the work of the famous interior designer Ashley Sutton (previously The Iron Fairies, Dragonfly). This designer's designs always have a story included, and Maggie Choo's is the protagonist who becomes an orphan due to the war and inherits an antique store. Later, she discovered that there was a hidden bank in the store. In the end, she transformed the bank into a secret place for singing and dancing, and this bar perfectly presented the story. The bar's cocktails are all very unique. For example, Driven by her Dreams adds jalapeno, which is spicy and sweet, and has a very special taste; Delusion uses Pisco distilled spirits with thyme, plus sweet pineapple citrus and Syrup, easy to drink. New cozy cafe at Holland Village

We visited this place on the weekend recommended by our friend, a very nice and cozy place for brunch and tea!! Their desserts looks so good and affordable, we ordered the flourless chocolate fudge with ice cream, it was so so good!! Can’t wait to try out the rest of the desserts. The pasta here are really good too, I personally preferred the crab meat pasta, they are so generous with the crab meat. Coffee was quite standard, nothing too special. The only down side of this place is the seats are quite limited, advise to come during non peak hour if you don’t like the crowd.

M & G Cafe and bar @ The Star Gold Coast

Got some credits left in our star gift card, so decided to give the “TEA FOR TWO” a go here. The tea set included carrot cake, mud cake, signature doughnut, scones, mixed sandwiches and one standard tea or coffee per person. We both had a flat white. The coffee was nice but not hot enough. The coffee came much earlier than the food as we had to wait for 25 minutes. The sandwiches, scones and cakes were placed nicely on a. The sandwich bread was very dry and the filling also not looked very fresh. The taste was just ok. Then we had the scones which was really good, warm and soft. The carrot cake and mud cake were not bad but the signature doughnut was pretty ordinary as it’s a bit hard, didn’t look fresh at all. This tea set cost $39, good quantities but not qualities. #menu subject to change #no bookings needed

A 3 day escape, we stayed at The Star Casino Broadbeach Queensland. The room and location are great, as you are only 10 minutes from Surfers Paradise and 5 minutes from Broadbeach. You are staying above the casino and restaurants, and there is on-site car parking. The staff were friendly and helpful, and room services were 24 hours, and the room we had was very clean and large. Early check-in and late check-out were available #localguides

I celebrated my 23rd Birthday at Broadbeach. Broadbeach, Gold Coast where Sun-soaked beaches meet urban chic. Award winning Chinese restaurant in Gold Coast

This restaurant has been awarded as the Best Chinese Restaurant QLD or Australia for years. Chef Song has more than 30 years’ experience working with and perfecting Asian cuisine. We went there for lunch(yum cha) and we found it quite busy as some people were queuing outside the restaurant. Luckily we had reserved our table. We ordered our tea first and then we looked through the menu before we ordered. The menu is very comprehensive. We ordered Turnip Puff Pastry, Chicken Spring Rolls, Deep Fried Taro Dumplings, Abalone Dumplings, Prawn Dumplings, Spinach, Crab and Prawn Dumplings, Salt & Pepper Soft-Shell Crab and Prawn Rice Noodle Roll wrapped with Crispy Bean Curd. All were very tasty and the spot on for us was the rice noodle roll. The staffs were attentive and the ambience was good too. We enjoyed our lunch there and definitely will go back. Best Japanese restaurant in Gold Coast

Visited this award winning Japanese restaurant for a celebration dinner with my partner. Make sure you make your reservation as it’s very popular. I remembered we made the reservation 2 weeks before the dinner. We had the special set menu and we really enjoyed every one of them. The WAGYU 7+ tenderloin was just spot on, it’s so delicious! Besides the food, the staffs, the ambiance were also nice. We were very happy with our dining experience here. It’s a bit pricy but worth for a celebration. No doubt the restaurant won so many awards. Remarks: 1. We went there a year ago so maybe they have updated their menu. 2. Booking is a MUST! We’d tried to make our bookings 3 times before we could dine there. #kiyomi Gold Coast
