Deepavali at Little India, KL Brickfields
Name of Place: Little India @ Brickfields
Location: Brickfields, KL Sentral
As it is the festive season for Indians the entire street of brickfields little India was decorated and vibrantly lit up. I arrived at KL Sentral and walked just 5 minutes towards the main buzz with rows and rows of shops selling all sorts of Indian items for the festival.
Usually, I find the colourful flowers, clothing and Indian decorative items very attractive. There were plenty of shops also selling food items and little Indian sweets in takeaway boxes. I also noticed that firecrackers were quite popular in this bazaar as people were trying to purchase all sorts of little sparklers. I was there at about 9 pm and it got super busy with the festive vibe and took a long time for my Grab driver to find me.
Overall a fun place to be during the Indian festival- Deepavali.

New Blind Massage Station by Blind Male Masseurs for Men
#100waysoftravel
During my recent visit to the New Blind Massage Station in Brickfields, I was genuinely impressed by the level of skill and professionalism displayed by the blind male masseurs. There's no fancy décor here—just a simple setup focused on delivering a high-quality massage experience. The masseur I had was incredibly precise, identifying and addressing tension spots that I didn't even realize I had. It's strictly for men, and the environment felt comfortable and respectful, with no distractions—just pure massage therapy. If you're looking for an authentic, no-frills experience, this is the place to go.

AWESOME DIM SUM!
WE WENT TO BRICKFIELDS IN KUALA LUMPUR, MALAYSIA FOR A FAREWELL LUNCH. THE CAFE OFFERS AUTHENTIC CHINESE DIM SUM AND IT IS CLEAN WITH MODERN DECOR PLUS COZY AMBIANCE. STAFF ARE POLITE AND ATTENTIVE AND MOST OF ALL, THEY SERVE GOOD DIM SUM FOR LUNCH AND/OR DINNER.
WE HAD CRYSTAL PRAWN DUMPLING, SIEW MAI DUMPLING, HAR GAO DUMPLING, SWEET AND SOUR BEANCURD SKIN ROLLS. HOME MADE FISH BALLS, SZECHUAN DUMPLINGS, LOH MAI GAI AND BBQ CHICKEN PAU. THE DIM SUM ARRIVED WITH 2 TYPES OF SAUCE-CHILI SAUCE AND BLACK SAUCE. PICKLED CHILI IS SERVED UPON REQUEST. WE ACCOMPANY OUR DIM SUM WITH CHRYSANTHEMUM FLOWER TEA.
THE PRICE IS A BIT PRICEY FOR DIM SUM BUT I DO NOT MIND PAYING AS LONG AS THE FOOD IS GOOD.
TO END OUR LUNCH, THE EGG CUSTARD BUN IS A MUST. IT WAS SUCH A DELIGHT FEELING WHEN THE FILLINGS BURST IN MY MOUTH AND AT THE SAME TIME, I COULD TASTE THE SWEETNESS OF THE CUSTARD.
