Marktplatz Travel Recommendations for 2024 (Updated in May)
Werder Bremen Township
This city is small but has extraordinary charm, surrounded by the north-central part of Germany in Bremen and Hannover, and is the birthplace of the fairy tale of the Brothers Grimm. In the streets of the small town, you may be able to inadvertently discover the statues of fairy tales, and the Art Nouveau streets make this small city impressive.
Bremen's market square is the center of the city, and is the most gorgeous and beautiful architectural gathering area. The cafs in the square provide visitors with a rest seat, the sun shining in the sun. The building is always eye-catching. The City Hall and St. Peter's Basilica are famous buildings on the square and have a long history.
Specially recommended: a small island between the old town of Bremen and the Weser River, which is now home to high-end homes and offices, unlike the bustling city of the old town, where the quietness makes you feel It seems to have come to an uninhabited town, and here is the best place to enjoy the sunset and night view of Bremen.
Bremen

Bremen Town Hall Travel Recommendations for 2024 (Updated in May)
Bremen is breathtaking!
Among the many possible day trips from #hamburg, I chose Bremen because it's nearly one hour away. And I came on a sunny winter day, which made it more special because I saw the city without so much tourists.
The breathtaking sights in Bremen are in the old town center, particularly the town hall and the Protestant church beside it. The city is walkable; actually I finished checking out the main attractions in less than 3 hours since they're pretty close to each other. So after lunch, I walked around the town center and revisited the attractions to find out more detail. Of course, there are other travel guides you can refer to, but the photos I've added here are more of the less-visited parts like the bridge (which amazing graffiti), the merchant stores just past by the town center, and the river that looked gorgeous in midday.

St.Petri Dom has a history of 1,200 years and brings together a variety of architectural styles that are the largest brick buildings in Europe; due to the almost complete destruction in the Second World War, the experience of reconstruction and re-cultivation has changed with the century. Architectural style St. Peter's Cathedral's richly painted rose windows and realistic carvings make it a solemn and gorgeous blend of beauty
and the oldest part of the church is the underground chapel where there is an open coffin. The mummies that were dried up in the cellar did not go to see the lack of interest in the mummies.
Böttcherstraße Travel Recommendations for 2024 (Updated in May)
Böttcherstraße pedestrian street
This street is not long, it's a small alley across from the Bremen City Hall. What first caught my attention was a golden mural (relief), depicting the story of the Archangel (bringer of light, also known as Luciferus) fighting against demons. The whole street has an antique charm and a touch of mystery.

Bottcherstrasse Bremen
Bottcherstrasse Bremen is one of the oldest districts in Bremen, where cottages from the 15th and 16th centuries line up densely like pearls strung together. The earliest residents here were fishermen and sailors, and after a monastery was built, more and more craftsmen and businessmen settled here. Today, after restoration, the area has become a historical district with diverse architectural styles and vibrant energy.
The market square in Bremen is the city center of the old town, where the uneven cobblestone roads testify to the city's long history. Surrounding the square stand the city's important cultural monuments; the town hall is a Gothic brick building with a Renaissance-style facade, and the character sculptures on the walls are still clearly discernible today, making it one of Germany's most beautiful buildings.
