#2023travelwish
My trip to Mostar, one of the city of Bosnia and Herzegovina is an unplanned day trip from Dubrovnik. Was told that the main attraction of Mostar, is the Stari Most – the Old Bridge.
The Old Bridge was originally constructed during the Ottoman period. The Old Bridge replaced the wooden suspension bridge that had previously existed on site.
Another Surprise sight is a statue of Bruce Lee which I come across while exploring. Also worth exploring is the bazaar on the either side of the street which I can try some local food . It was indeed as unforgettable trip . Day trip is definitely too short will hope I will be able to visit her for a free days next time
Bosnia
Day 16 of road trip. Long drive from Croatia to Montenegro, passing by Bosnia, a total of 6 hours on the road. We did not plan to explore Bosnia, but the mountains, lakes and river along the way are very beautiful. There was a restaurant by the cliff where we drove by overlooking the lakes below. It would have been a very romantic place for dinner! I took a picture of the name of the restaurant. For those considering a proposal u can consider 😝
Food is relatively cheap. The gigantic pizza with another dish and a drink cost 11 euros.

The stepped-shaped Pochitelye is a village in the Ottoman era and one of the most perfect buildings in the country. It is situated in a rocky, circular depression, with intricate steps climbing between the broken roof of the stone house and the pomegranate trees. Built in 1563, the mosque Hadi AlijnaMosque was destroyed in the 1990s and has now been restored, while the 16-meter-high clock tower (sahat kula) has never had a wall clock since 1917. The octagonal gavrakapetan tower is the most iconic building in a partially damaged fortress. Climb the highest wall and enjoy a panoramic view.
