My group and I visited Blawan Waterfall after climbing Mount Ijen last Saturday, October 25, 2014. After parking the vehicle, we first relax a very tired body in a warm bath. The ticket is Rp. 2,000/person. Not bad, soreness was reduced. Haha. We then continued our exploration to the waterfall. After paying the ticket Rp. 2,500/person, we followed the path for approximately 100 meters with a slight incline in the form of concrete stairs. Was surprised when a herd of monkeys "greeted" us from the tall trees along the way. Luckily, they were able to keep their distance. Haha. I was immediately amazed when I saw this waterfall. Because, this waterfall is flanked by two high cliffs overgrown with moss and other green plants. In addition, this 30-high waterfall is very heavy. However, it was still the dry season. The color of the water is yellowish because it contains sulfur. We couldn't go down to the bottom of the waterfall. Visitors can only enjoy this natural beauty from the edge of the cliff, right in the middle of the waterfall. Be careful, ok. This cliff is prone to landslides. At certain times, this cliff is covered by a bamboo fence to anticipate things that are not desirable. There is something special. We were treated to a rainbow on one side of the cliff. It's beautiful. You know, I haven't seen a rainbow in a very long time. Haha. The combination of colors resulting from the refraction of sunlight by the water droplets did not appear for long.
