Our stay in Coco Bodu Hithi was a truly outstanding positive experience. We stayed in Coco Residence Villa which offered full privacy and immediate access for snorkling at the house reef. All the staff was very friendly and helpful and the food in Latitude, Air, Aqua and Stars was outstanding. We want to especially mention Hammu, our dedicated host who personally checked with us on a daily basis if we needed anything and who was available always and took care immediately on any request we had. We loved everything,the island,the beach,the food,the accommodation, everything was amazing,but what stands out the most,are the people and their genuine kindness and humbleness. #maldives

Maldives Bodu Hithi Island Travel Tips🌴🌊 I recently had the pleasure of spending a wonderful honeymoon on Bodu Hithi Island in the Maldives. Here are some travel tips based on my experience, which I hope will be helpful for those planning a trip! 🚀 Transportation Tips: We chose a direct flight from Beijing to Malé. We departed on August 18, which was just after the end of the summer holidays and during the low tourist season. The plane was not crowded, and we were even upgraded to seats at the emergency exit, making the 9-hour flight much more comfortable. (The flight time was longer because we had to avoid Indian airspace.) On the return trip, our original direct flight was cancelled, and we had to change to a flight with a layover in Singapore. Fortunately, Singapore Airport provides free Wi-Fi, so I was able to stay online throughout the journey and enjoy two comfortable flights. 🏨 Accommodation Options: We booked 2 nights in a luxury water villa, 2 nights in a beach villa, and 1 night in a transit hotel. As some of the water villas were undergoing pool repairs, there were fewer options available. Luxury water villas are well-equipped, but they are located far from the hotel's facilities and restaurants, and they are in a deeper location, which may be a little intimidating for novice snorkelers. If you choose a regular water villa near the beach, there will be fewer fish around. Overall, for novice snorkelers or those who don't want to walk too far, a luxury water villa is a good choice. As for transit hotels, if possible, it is recommended to avoid them, as the hotels on Malé Airport Island are generally not very good. 🍽 Dining Experience: We chose an all-inclusive dining package, including breakfast, lunch, and dinner. Breakfast is served in a buffet restaurant with a relatively limited selection. You can refer to the photos I shared. Lunch can be chosen from several free restaurants, but once you choose one, you cannot go to another. Lunch usually includes fast food options such as pizza and hamburgers. Dinner is served in a buffet restaurant with a wide variety of dishes, including various meats and carbohydrates. That's all for this post.
