Checkinaway (@checkinawayblog) Bath - a town in England
It's one of my favorite towns.
The warm sunshine, gentle air, and lush greenery everywhere.
Bath is a city in England that is listed as a world cultural heritage site. It is a classical and elegant small town surrounded by pastoral scenery, with Georgian-style houses and charming countryside views.
The Romans first discovered hot springs here and built huge bathhouses. Today, the ancient bathhouse ruins are a relic of ancient Roman times in England. The magnificent Royal Crescent, Royal Crescent Circus, Bath Abbey, and Pulteney Bridge are all landmarks of Bath!
🥘品嘗Bath的意式美食🍝Portofino Oyster Bar & Mediterranean Restaurant
We were first time here in Bath and we have no idea where to eat. This is a happy accident that we choose this restaurant😍. This is one of the best Italian restaurant I have eaten for quite awhile. The oyster was very fresh. The grilled octopus was also lid. As for the main course, we had mussels risotto and grilled sword fish. Both are super delicious and really fresh. If we come back to Bath again, we will definitely eat here for sure👍👍

So we came to Sally’s home by advice of the lady in the old Mill hotel where we had a night (this one in another post). It is really a place that has to be seen. style , taste and the feeling of over 300 years ago everything is present there.
Special star reward goes to buns as they are super delicious no matter sweet or savory.
I loved the tea presentation with the pot and accessories. Beside the style food was totally delicious. Beetroot soup tasted as like My Ukrainian borsh but blended one ) , baked meat melted in the mouth and the apple pie with super cream was the best I have ever tried.

The real-life Bridgerton🙌🏻 Visit Bath 🥂
🚂 Getting There - There are busses from London, or take a short 1.5 hour train from Paddington to Bath Spa, and you’ll be in the centre of this historical town.
🎟 Attractions - Bath was built hu the Romans so they have a still-working Roman bath house for you to check out. You can’t swim in it today (and you wouldn’t want to) so once you’ve headed through the museum, head up to the contemporary modern Spa to have a soak in the ancient waters! They have an infinity pool over looking the city.

🥂 Food & Restaurants - Bath town centre is FULL of great restaurants. If you fancy a traditional English cream tea, go to the Pump Room for tea and scones right near the ancient ruins. #newyearadventure #tripblazers #ancientcity #england

Bath Abbey is s truly astonishing building. Such fantastic architecture, history and design.
The building dates back over 1000 years it towers over the town centre. It's literally unmissable. The huge windows are a work of art, amazing carved ceilings and walls, tons of plaques and remembrance messages dating back hundreds of years. It's like stepping back in time.

The Rise and Fall of Roman Baths
Roman Bath were primarily designed for, well, bathing ang relaxing and were a common feature during the Roman Empire. These feature has, to this date, remained available and even had a town named after it Bath, in Northern England.
While it is no longer used for its intended purpose, with almost 2,000 years of history, The Roman Baths offers a different experience worthy of visit. The large bath (Great Bath) is by far the highlight of the entire bath complex, but the ancient holy spring (Sacred Spring) is just as impressive.
Wander through the large complex of Bath house and enjoy relieving the ways of the past. You will find the walk through its corridors interesting like I did as I encounter some stone writings which were apparently curse notes cast in stones.
While the busiest time is in July and August, a visit in Fall is just perfect at it will allow you to walk around with the just the right sunlight and the Autumn breeze.

Autumn Bath
Autumn/fall has arrived. And the colours are as vibrant and beautiful as you'd want. With oranges, reds, brown and still some green, it's a real visual feast for the eyes.
Easy to walk around, you can take in the different colours and scenery while you get some fresh air and exercise. I like how varied the colours are here with, really gives some variety.
Another 'fall' feeling are the leaves on the floor. walking through them gives a tangible feeling of seasons changing around you and the arrival of Autumn. I suggest going here while you can as winter will arrive and these colours will be gone
#fallingforfall #travel #uk #passionpassport
Beautiful Bath Park
Fantastic example of a Victorian Era park. This has a sense of prestige and age about it. Huge expanses of green are perfect for picnics or kids playing, lots of oaths to walk dogs or go rambling, a wide variety of trees which change colour wuth the seasons. Even a lake with ducks and geese serenely swimming.
Check out the botanical gardens too for some unusual plants that you wouldn't usually see in the UK. It's a great place to sit and think.
It's just outside the main walking street and it's nearby Royal Cresent and Circus which are other popular spots
Victoria Park is a lesser visited spot but well worth your time.

The Popular Roman Bath in United Kingdom
Holidaying in United Kingdom and not sure where to go? Well, there is a place that you have to visit in the city of Bath where also most tour agencies will also plan in the itinerary.
The Roman Bath located at Abbey Churchyard, Bath BA1 1LZ has now became a heritage side for both tourists and locals to visit. For a place that was said to be completed in 1897, the work of art, sculptures and design of the entire compound is astoundingly amazing especially without the help of machineries back in the olden days.
Gaining its fame, as these baths were once said to heal diseases and also help to relax and cleanse the body due to the heated element this Bath have. But of course, you do not want to jump into the water, the greenery in the water will turn you off for sure, it is not even save to touch.
