Always liked travelling to Batam for a weekend getaway. it's just an hour of ferry ride away, and there's a spread of ferry companies with ample timings for you to choose from at your convenience! hotel stays, transportation and food are all very reasonably priced! the trip will perfect when you pair it with a 3 hours spa session! there's so many massage and spa centers to choose from! And of cos, not to mention, the big shopping mall for some endless shopping! I am definitely fully recharged from just this 2d1n getaway!

After ILTM ended this year, I finally had the chance to visit the famous Bawah Reserve. With Singapore's visa-free policy for Chinese passports, Chinese guests no longer need to apply for multiple-entry visas to Singapore, making the whole trip more convenient. To get to Bawah, you need to take a fast ferry from Singapore Ferry Terminal to Batam, Indonesia, which takes about 40 minutes, and then transfer to a seaplane. The flight time of the seaplane is usually about 1 hour, but due to the weather, our flight took 1 hour and 40 minutes to land in the storm. Looking at the storm, I was a little disappointed. I thought the trip would end in heavy rain. Unexpectedly, I went back to the tent and fell asleep. When I woke up, I found that the wind and rain had stopped. The foggy island had lifted her mysterious veil and showed her charm. Bawah Reserve is composed of Bawah Island in the Riau Islands and its surrounding 6 small islands. Only Bawah Island and Elang Island have villas and tents for guests to stay in. There are 36 villas and tents on the main island, and Elang, as a private island, has only 6 villas. The island has complete fitness and wellness and Spa facilities, and there is a standard tennis court on both islands. Boathouse offers lunch and sunset barbecue dinner (every Monday and Friday), and Treetop Restaurant offers breakfast and dinner. Lunch is served from 12:00 to 17:00, so you can eat all day on the island. Bawah Reserve is an all-inclusive resort, and the price even includes a daily double Spa. All food and drinks except alcohol are included in the room rate. The minimum stay is 3 nights, and the round-trip seaplane needs to be paid separately. Bawah Reserve is also a paradise for diving enthusiasts. There are many high-quality diving spots around the island and surrounding islands. For snorkeling enthusiasts, there are a lot of blue corals and various fish in the lagoon between the main island and Elang Island. Even though this Indonesian island is located just a few kilometers away from Singapore by sea, it never fails to leave us amazed by its wild beauty, very affordable accommodation and food, and superb option for a short getaway. And of course, Trip.com has so many great options and deals for us to book our next vacation to Batam (; This time around we visited Batam as a group of 3 families with young children. We wanted to have some family fun and so we decided to explore Panbil Nature Reserve Park. It was really easy to get there either by Grab or Gojek. There are lots of family and children friendly activities available at the park including ATV, trekking with the deers, and some of the more kid friendly stuff like feeding the farm animals (see images). A short vacation to Batam, Indonesia. Indonesia is one of my favourite country to visit because of the food 🥘.This is my first time traveling to Batam Island and I just love it. Just to share some of my favorite places that I’ve visited in Batam Island. I have visited many cafes and restaurants during the trip. Just to share my favorite cafes and places in this post. My most favorite restaurant in Batam Island will be Rezeki Restaurant. They served variety of seafood. All the seafood were very fresh and delicious. I would recommend you to try my favourite Butterry Lobster ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ It was so good until we ordered two plates 🤣 Other dishes were slightly above average but all the seafood that we ordered was good! Overall the price was reasonable, we spent about $50/pax as we ordered quite a lot of seafood and we really enjoyed it. Rezeki Restaurant 📍Pantai, Jl. H. Moh. This is my favorite place to visit throughout the trip. We got the chance to learn how to surf from experienced coach and we really enjoyed despite the very hot weather! The price is reasonable and you can have a rest and get some drink from the cafe when you’re tired. You can also see experienced surfers surfing around, just too cool 😎 We will definitely come back again! Although this is our first time learning how to surf, but we are loving it! Wake House Cafe & Ski 📍Tanjung Buntung, Bengkong, Batam City, Riau Islands, Indonesia The next “MUST” visit spot in Batam Island will be itsumō TART‼️ I always love to visit different cafes when I’m travelling. itsumō TART is my most favorite cafe in Batam Island 💯 We ordered Noir 73.5% Chocolate, Matcha Red Bean and Earl Grey cheesecake! They were all very good, not too sweet. The cafe is like Muji style and we like the environment very much. We visited the cafe on the last day of our trip. #weekendgetaways On my recent weekend trip to Batam, I got the opportunity and privilege to do cafe hopping with a group of good friends! We ended up at a quaint and really nice industrialist styled building with a cafe in it! It was Labers Coffee Pergudangan and the space was really nice! We ordered a loaded waffle to share. The waffle had fruits, a lotus biscoff biscuit and 2 scoops of delicious ice cream. It was delicious and the waffles was crispy on the outside. #batam The June holiday hasn’t officially begun for me, so I’m treating this weekend’s short trip to Batam as a starter! 😄 Filled with disappointment when it poured 20 minutes before sunset, we were pleasantly surprised when the rain ceased as suddenly as it had started, giving way to a gorgeous burst of reddish sunset hues 😍 God is Good 🙏

The view in the morning and night will be quite awesome. Especially when you choose sea view villa. Also can be an alternative for us to do the employee gathering or family gathering. Amazing place and super friendly staff. She recommended us a few dishes that we tried and loved it. We could not stop ordering and she told us that the food that we ordered would be enough already, if we finished and wanted more then we can order again. Loved the fish and the crayfish. Black pepper crayfish is a must to try! The veggies are also full of flavour, you can never go wrong. Location is : Love Seafood Nagoya at 168 Food Court
