Strolling Along Rambla de Mar in Barcelona at Sunset
Rambla de Mar, an extension of La Rambla, stretches across the old fishing port of Barcelona. The wavy wooden walkway passes by the Columbus Monument and connects to the Maremagnum shopping center and the Barcelona Aquarium.
Visiting in the late afternoon as the sun begins to set, the bright light allows you to enjoy views of sailboats and various maritime activities. Seagulls rest along the way, and the coastal art installations make for great photo opportunities, making the walk very pleasant.
At dusk, the sunset reflects on the old port's waters, creating a picture-perfect scene. It's a popular spot for locals to stroll and relax.

Barcelona coffee shop “The coffee house”
#EuropeanTravel
📍Location: C/ de València, 143, L'Eixample, 08011 Barcelona, Spain
I found this cafe by chance, but it's popular, and both the coffee beans and milk are so delicious, so I recommend it!
They also have brunch and bakery menus, so there were a lot of takeout customers.
I had a cappuccino, and the milk, foam, and coffee beans were all so delicious!!
The store itself is a bit small, so if you just eat in, you might have to wait.
The milk is delicious, so I recommend the coffee menu with milk!

Mountain village in the Pyrenees
La Pobla de Lillet, 2 hours drive north from Barcelona, is a small mountain village nestled in between valleys and crossed by the Llobregat river. 🏔️
It boasts excellent local cuisine and typical mountain architectural features: like cobblestone covered streets, tilted black roofs and stone walls. 🌲
Amazingly, through the tourist office you can get the key to climb up the bell tower of the church, quite a unique experience that will allow you enjoy the views of the village from the top. 🔔
La Pobla de Lillet is a great chance for a tranquil getaway not too far from Barcelona, and extra tip: it holds a secret garden that was designed by Catalan master architect Antoni Gaudí, more about this in another post, be sure yo check it out 😊

4-day trip to Barcelona, Spain!
I went around Barcelona🇪🇸 in 4 days!
📍Sagrada Familia
When you think of Barcelona, this is the place to be! It was so grand✨✨✨
The view from the back of the Sagrada Familia is very famous, but the view from the front and side of the Sagrada Familia was also very beautiful! Please take a look around it😉
*Advance reservations are required to visit the inside
📍Gothic Quarter
The atmosphere of the city of Barcelona changes completely in the Gothic Quarter, located near the beach!
When you walk around, you will see the cathedral, famous bridges, and old-fashioned souvenir shops. In the evening, there are many restaurants where you can eat while watching the sunset🎶
I had sangria and paella!
📍Casa Mila
A huge mansion designed by the architect who designed the Sagrada Familia🏰
You can tour the area from the first floor to the rooftop using Japanese audio! We went there in the evening, and luckily we were able to see the sunset from the rooftop of Casa Mila 🤩
📍Cultural Center and Arc de Triomf
This is an archaeological site where you can learn about the history of Barcelona! For 4€, we were able to actually tour the history and buildings of Barcelona with an English guide! We were also able to actually walk down the alleys of houses from 200 years ago, which was a great memory ❣️
The Arc de Triomf was about a 5-minute walk from here! You can also get to the harbor in about 10 minutes, so be sure to walk around 😉
📍Park Guell
*Reservations required in advance!
We were planning to go on the first day, but we couldn't buy tickets, so we took revenge on the second day 😅
It was a wonderful place with a panoramic view of Barcelona, which has a long history, and many art works remaining!
We also found a colorful lizard in a souvenir shop 💡
We were able to enjoy it thoroughly in 4 days!

See and Taste Around Barcelona
Barcelona has it all, so it is no wonder it is one of the top destinations in Europe. Strolling along the streets, you can find jaw-dropping architectural wonders by Gaudi, ruins and vestiges of the ancient Roman Empire, historical museums, mouth-watering tapas, and markets to suit your needs. I signed up for historical walking tours and a foodie tour to learn and eat my way around Barcelona and met other travelers who gave great recommendations and reviews of places they visited around the city. With so much to offer, Barcelona cannot disappoint!

Park Güell 🇪🇸
Park Güell is one of the famous attractions in Barcelona. I will say this is the most beautiful park in Barcelona and you must add this place In your travel list. This building is built by Antoni Gaudí and the architecture is absolutely amazing. As you see from the picture, the park is spectacular with different shapes of rocks and the way they built together is just fantastic. Therefore, I am highly recommend this place for you to come and have a look in this spectacular park!

Barcelona …. don’t forget to look up! 😱
Bold, brash, colourful, distinctive, harmonious, varied and unique are just a few adjectives that come to mind when describing Barcelona architecture.
Barcelona has successfully blended the old and the new in a way that makes this city simply breathtakingly beautiful. There is nothing more enjoyable than strolling around the streets of Barcelona and taking in the atmosphere that radiates out from the architecture. Traditional Catalan Gothic architecture such as the Iglesia de Pi church is reserved and stoic in its design, but just a 5 minute walk away we have the Barcelona Cathedral with its beautiful arches and facade.

Spooky Barcelona!! 👻🎃
There’s nothing like a spooky Barcelona!!
Barcelona, the cosmopolitan capital of Spain’s Catalonia region, is known for its art and architecture. The fantastical Sagrada Família church and other modernist landmarks designed by Antoni Gaudí dot the city. Museu Picasso and Fundació Joan Miró feature modern art by their namesakes. City history museum MUHBA, includes several Roman archaeological sites.
Barcelona is a city with a wide range of original leisure options that encourage you to visit time and time again. Overlooking the Mediterranean Sea.

BARCELONA’S OLD CITY: DISCOVER THE GOTHIC QUA
Barcelona’s Old City is steeped in history and soaked in charm. Wandering its streets and alleys is a delightful thing to do in Barcelona, but there’s more to the Old City than just the Gothic Quarter. Read on for a guide to the Barcelona Old City neighbourhoods (or barrios), including the Gothic Quarter, Sant Pere, Santa Caterina i la Ribera, El Born, El Raval and La Barceloneta.
The Old City, or Ciutat Vella, is the oldest part of Barcelona, its historic heart. There has been a settlement here since Roman times when it was known as Barcino. Once hemmed in by medieval walls, which were taken down in the 19th century, Barcelona’s old city remains a dense network of streets, alleys and historic buildings. But it’s not just for pretty walks and sightseeing: Barcelona’s Old City remains a vibrant, humming community, full of life. And it’s not all the same – the historic neighbourhoods (barris in Catalan and barrios in Spanish) each have their own distinct personality and appeal.

It’s no doubt that Barcelona is one of the most photogenic cities on the planet—especially at sunset.
As evening falls over the city, Barcelona takes on a special kind of magic that you have to experience for yourself. Of course, since Barcelona lies on Spain’s eastern coast, you won’t be able to catch a true coastal sunset—you’ll have to go to Galicia or Spain’s islands for that. However, the beautiful twilight that settles over Barcelona is still incredible.
Of all the travel experiences waiting out there in the big wide world, ‘sipping cocktails on a rooftop bar in Barcelona as the sun sets in the distance’ has to be right up near the top. The very thought of it is enough to draw wistful sighs and excessive daydreaming. Europe doesn’t get much more romantic than this.
Barcelona is packed with amazing things to do and fantastic restaurants, and a sunset drink on a rooftop bar is the perfect end to a perfect day.

St. Paul's
St. Paul's Hospital is not far from the Sagrada Famlia. It takes only a few minutes to walk. The original site is an 11th-century pilgrim hospital. It is now called the modernist building complex with a strong Islamic style and is known as in the city. City, "the most beautiful hospital in the world."
is still a world cultural heritage, and the pink powder, the girl is full of heart!

[Barcelona] A tourist spot that's not a standard one in Barcelona! Perfect for when you have time and are staying longer!
I love traveling abroad and visit five times a year, so I'd like to introduce some of the more obscure tourist spots in Barcelona that I've actually visited!
①Port Forum Barcelona
This is a large convention center and leisure area by the sea, where sports events, music festivals, international conferences, exhibitions, etc. are held. There is a promenade next to it, which is perfect for a stroll. It's right by the sea, so sunset time is the best! It's perfect for watching the sun set at your leisure.
②Barcelona Natural History Museum
This museum is located near the sea. There are exhibits for children as well as exhibits that adults can enjoy. In the exhibits about the formation and structure of the earth, there was an exhibit about the earth that taught about natural phenomena such as strata, minerals, and earthquakes, and the rows of stuffed plants and animals were worth seeing. There were many exhibits that touched on environmental protection and sustainability, and the impact of scientific progress on the environment and efforts toward a sustainable future were introduced, which is typical of Europe. Personally, I found the way mold and fungi were exhibited to be different from Japan (between the toes and moldy strawberries, etc.) to be interesting.
Opening hours:
* Monday to Friday: 10:00 to 20:00
* Saturdays, Sundays, and holidays: 10:00 to 20:00
Admission fee:
* Adults: Approximately 6 euros
→ Varies depending on the admission area. I only went to one zone, so it was 2 euros. If you ask the admission ticket counter for recommended areas, they will introduce you to the ones they have.
③ Enchantments Market
A market characterized by a glass roof and an open design. It was very popular with locals. Bring cash! There were many household goods as well as antiques and vintage items.
Opening days: Monday to Saturday
Opening hours: 9:00 am to 8:00 pm
④ Around Clot Market
It was a wonderful street with many restaurants and cafes, where everyone was enjoying their time with a glass of wine in hand from noon. There were also many nice bars, so please take a look!

🏛️ Exploring the Inside of Barcelona’s Town Hall – A Hidden Architectural Gem! ✨
Barcelona’s Ajuntament (City Hall) isn’t just an administrative building—it’s a historical masterpiece! While its grand façade blends Gothic and Neoclassical styles, stepping inside reveals an even richer world of art and history.
📍 What to Expect Inside:
Once inside, you’ll be greeted by The Gothic Hall (Saló de Cent), a stunning 14th-century chamber with high vaulted ceilings and intricate stonework. This hall, once used for medieval council meetings, still hosts official events today. The Grand Staircase leads to beautifully decorated rooms with elegant chandeliers, stained glass windows, and ornate wooden ceilings.
✨ Don’t Miss:
Saló de Cròniques – Murals depicting Barcelona’s history in golden tones.
The Council Chamber – Where political decisions are made, framed by stunning art.
Hidden Courtyards – Quiet spots with beautiful fountains and sculptures.
📅 When to Visit:
The Town Hall opens its doors for free tours during Santa Eulàlia festivities in February, offering a rare chance to admire its beauty up close! If you're in Barcelona, don’t miss this chance to step inside one of the city’s most historic buildings. 🏛️✨
Traveling Fate
Barcelona is not only beautiful and fun to explore, but also a great place to stay!
The biggest surprise on this trip to Barcelona was the hotel! The hotel's name is Primero Primera.
🔆Space
I booked a room with a small terrace. The room was very spacious, but it was a little disappointing that the terrace didn't face the hotel's own small garden.
The overall design is very elegant. When I checked in, I couldn't help but admire the ingenious design of the wooden blinds and the play of light and shadow in the room.
📍Location
The hotel is in a very quiet area. It's convenient to take a taxi to scenic spots or the subway to downtown. The nearest subway station is a 5-min walk away, and a taxi to city attractions like Sagrada Familia costs about EUR 11–15.
🐙Food
For my first meal in Spain, I chose the hotel's own restaurant. The overall style of the restaurant feels like a comfortable family gathering space. The atmosphere is great. At first glance, the tables seem low, but once you sit down, you'll find the height is just right. There are also a few highly-rated restaurants nearby on Google Maps, but in comparison, I actually found the hotel's restaurant to be more delicious.

🇪🇸 Lucciano’s - A popular gelato store in Barcelona !
#favouriteitinerary
Lucciano’s is hands down one of the best gelato that I have ever had in Barcelona ! We got two scoops with cone and it was amazing! The pistachio flavor was rich, creamy, nutty and perfectly balanced! The staff was quick and efficient in service hence the line moved pretty fast despite the long queue.

An existence close to heaven
Barcelona not only has the Gaudi trifecta, but also the charming Tibidabo Mountain!
Here, you can enjoy the city view of Barcelona and the Mediterranean coastline. You can also visit the Catholic church on the top of the mountain ⛪️ Basilica of the Sacred Heart, and the amusement park on the top of the mountain. 🚗 Transportation: You can drive (30 minutes from the city) or take a bus (1 hour and 20 minutes from the city center) directly to Tibidabo Mountain. ⛰ The name of Tibidabo Mountain comes from the Latin version of the Bible, which quotes what the devil said to Jesus. Tibidabo means "I give you". At the top of the hill is the Basilica of the Sacred Heart, and rumor has it that the Catholic Church decided to build a church dedicated to the Sacred Heart of Jesus, which is how the church got its name.
💰The interior visit of the church is free, but you need to buy a ticket to take the elevator to the top to see the statue of Jesus and other statues of gods (5 euros, not expensive at all). The master will first take the elevator to the top, and after visiting the platform, take the spiral staircase to the top to see the statue of Jesus. After the meeting, take the elevator down to the second floor sightseeing platform.
🎠You can enter the amusement park below the church for free. You can go to the observation deck to see the Mediterranean scenery, or you can eat snacks in the amusement park (they are all very sweet, basically chocolate or fried fast food). The amusement facilities inside are charged, you can also try the Ferris wheel or the bungee jumping machine
