We tried to stay at Ibis style Grand Central Bandung and were pretty amazed with the breakfast they offered. it's unlike other 3 stars hotels as there are plenty of choices and they make it very high class. Great values for what we paid. The eating area is also very spacious and guests can choose to eat in smoking and non smoking area, inside the room or at the common lobby.

We visited Sushi Hiro at Diponegoro Street Bandung during Chinese New Year Holiday for the first time. We are a regulars for another big chain Japanese Restaurant in Asia and was spectical with the quality of this restaurant. This restaurant has very unique and modern Japanese architecture which gives impression of high end and expensive restaurant. We are pretty impressed with the great interiors of the restaurant and ambience which make you feel that you are in Japan. They keep playing a piano piece Gymnopedie No 1 by Erik Satie and somehow this irritates me. Fortunately the foods are pretty good. we tried the Salmon Nabe, Salmon Roll, Croquet and Salmon Skin. At the end we return for 3 times on that week to try other menu. Overall good quality of food. This was amongst the nicest of places I visited in bandung. I dropped by twice. While both times I came in with some work. It has a good wifi and is very spacious with variety of seating options. I did notice a lot of regulars and how good the food looked. So another rltime I had a lunch here. A rice based dish on the staff's recommendation. It was superb. Also dried the dessert and smoothie options. And was adventurous enough to get the pandan coffee as well. Takes a while to grow on your. Jardin cafe is one of my favourite spots in Bandung. There is no overdoing the interiors here. It's a specious setup with lot of greenery and well spread settings. Simply put, beautiful and green, especially the top floor where I would hang out. I have done work here, breakfast, desserts and mostly lazy afternoons trying their drinks. The price is reasonable. I have never paid above 100k even when I have had mains and drinks or breakfast. The wifi was steady to serve work purposes. They serve a wide variety of food: Indonesian, Asian, Western and various drinks are refreshing, making it even better. By the time I arrived in bandung, I had a but of a backlog of work. I needed a comfortable place where I could work a couple of hours. I had visited Sydwic with an Indonesian friend for some Pizza. So I remembered the place and its outdoor seating. I thought I would try. I spent 3 days in a row working from here during the afternoons. It was mostly not too crowded. I tried different dishes on staff's recommendation for lunch, I took my coffee breaks and lounge around the place. It worked out decently well except for a few hiccups in the wifi. It's a nice spot with decent prices. While there is a smoking and non smoking section. Sometimes I had the smell of ciggarates all around even in the non smoking area. I had seen Sejiwa before when I met with a friend here. So it stayed in my mind. The coffee was decent. This one time I had to get some work done and needed a space for a few hours. So I came by but this was a different day and different time. I started with the level one which is air-conditioned and comfortable. I thought the music was too loud and lot more people in the ac section. So as I finished my smoothie bowl I went upstairs which was fairly empty and apparently meant for smokers. It took just one group of men to completely fill the upstair air with ciggatrate smoke. So I decided to come back down. Somehow got through two hours of work. #indonesiatrip two cents just expand their place so it getting bigger and they finally have 'facade' and the focal point is the facade (and i personally like it because of the lighting) and i think two cents just becoming into upscale coffee shop or resto. personally i do like their design, really like architectural design for sure. because this place is crowded and makin' a queue, so i just bought thai tea and it tastes good!

Two Cents Coffee has now moved to a new building located in the front area of the old building, while the old building at the back will undergo renovation first. Being situated beside the road allows its facade to be prominently visible from the front, and the parking area has been expanded. The new building remains comfortable and more elegant compared to the old one, which was originally a vintage house converted into a public space. The new bar area is designed to seamlessly integrate with the rear area in the future. Overall, the coffee experience is now even more enjoyable and comfortable, especially with seats positioned in front of the bar, a favorite spot for observing the baristas in action and interacting with them.
