Today we will take everyone to see the rich atmosphere of the forest and mountains.
After watching the floating boat procession in Nakhon Phanom. My friends and I woke up early to Phu Langka National Park to go up to see the Naga Cave, the head of the 9 Naga Kings.

Follow the Naga trail, Naga Cave, Phu Langka National Park, Nakhon Phanom Province, an unseen nature study route in the northeastern region
Naga Cave is a geological tourist attraction that was created when the surface of the rock was eroded by the sun crack phenomenon, resulting in patterns similar to fish or snake scales.
Naga Cave is 8 kilometers from Ban Phaeng District, approximately 100 kilometers from Nakhon Phanom City, and 30 kilometers from Bueng Khong Long District, Bueng Kan Province.
To travel to Naga Cave via the nature study route, Tham-Phaya Naga, you will have to pass a concrete path along nature for about 1.5 kilometers, passing Tad Pho Waterfall. Pha Sawan Waterfall, Sai Ngam Waterfall and through a 300-meter hiking trail, you will reach Nakhi Cave.
There will be rest stops along the way and there are sections where you have to pull and climb ropes because the path is quite steep. The total round trip, praying and taking pictures, takes about 2-4 hours.
The cave is home to the green jade Buddha statue, Nak Prok. It is a sacred object that tourists come to pray and ask for blessings every time they visit this cave.

Phulangka Tai Temple
Wat Phulangka Tai is a temple for the people, belonging to the Thammayut sect. It is located at Village No. 10, Phon Thong Subdistrict, Ban Phaeng District, Nakhon Phanom Province. It has a beautiful view and a shady atmosphere. It is located at the foot of Phulangka. There is also a pavilion on the mountain. You can go up to pay homage and pray to the Buddha statue. You can see the beautiful scenery of Phulangka. The nature is very beautiful. 🙏🙏🙏 I pay homage to Phra Khru Anukul Thammarak (Luang Pho Praklong Kanthammo). I offered drinking water and had a religious discussion. I received some thoughts to remind me of my life.
“Goodness is a measure of morality.”

Nāgi Cave
Nakhi Cave is located in Phu Langka National Park in Nakhon Phanom Province. Because Nakhi Cave is located in Bueng Kan Province, it is another route of the Naga like Nakhi Cave. But I must say that there are many photo spots here. There are also many Mu spots. Nakhi Cave is a large rock with a pattern resembling a Naga scale on the surface of the rock, similar to Nakhi Cave. There are many interesting spots such as Wang Nakhi, Pha Nakhi, Hin Sali Khu, Lan Tham, Hin Phraya Sri Satta Nakarat, Naga eggs, Naga heads. I must say that each spot is just as beautiful as Nakhi Cave. There is a distance of about 1.5 kilometers of concrete pavement and a 300-meter hiking trail. The total round trip time is about 1-2 hours (easy to walk). #NakhonPhanom #Thailand #NakhiCave #MuSaiMuDontMiss

Naga Cave, sun crack snake rocks
Bueng Kan was one of favourite on this list! Loved the Mekong vibe 🌅
The Naga Cave, located in Bung Khong Long district, is part of the Phu Langka National Park. This strange and amazing beauty of the large stone shaped like a giant snake or a serpent is a must be! It is definitely a great attraction for those who like nature, and a bit of mystery. Outstanding beauty and complexity of the natural rock formations or sun cracks.
Highly recommend you reserve your queue first before planning anything else. Flight plan, hotel stay, etc. The hike takes 3-5 hours (average), with steep stairs and rocks. Make sure you carry enough water, some food and tip the local guide.
Flight: Either choose Nakhon Phanom Airport or Udon Thani Airport. We picked Udon Thani, more flight options.
Hotel: Recommend Thai Guesthouse, new building. Great location and service, with lots of nearby restaurants, convenient stores. Breakfast starts at 5 a.m. One of the best options available / Avoid Huen Kiang Bueng, great room and facilities but service was a big disappointment. Rude and a rip off.
Restaurant: Lob Moom Soi8. Excellent food and service by lakeside
Getting around: Car or bike rental is probably the best way to get around. Many prpvider available. Avis, Chic, ThaiCarRent. Buses and trains are also available.
Other attractions: Highly recommend (1) Phu Singh Forestry National Park-Three Whale Rock is AMAZING. Unseen remarkable rock cliff; (2) Phu Tok; (3) Chet si waterfall

Naga Cave
Naga Cave is a geological tourist attraction that was created when the surface of the rock was eroded by the Sun Crack phenomenon, resulting in patterns resembling fish scales or snake scales. In addition, the curvature of the rock makes the overall shape resemble the coils of a large snake or Naga. According to the legend of the belief in the story of Chao Pu U Lue who was cursed to be a Naga and was imprisoned, he will be freed from the curse and the area will be known and prosperous only after 10 years, which is consistent with the 10th anniversary of the founding of Bueng Kan Province in 2020. This has led to people coming to see this cave and it has become famous to this day.
The distance from the starting point to Naga Cave is approximately 1,400 meters. The path is a natural path consisting of stairs at intervals alternating with the ground. At some points, you have to pull on a rope to help support yourself both up and down. In addition, there are other nearby tourist attractions, such as Chedi Luang Pu Sao, Chedi Luang Pu Wang, Tham Luang Pu Wang, and Head of Naga 1, etc. It takes about 4-5 hours to travel back and forth.
If you are physically ready, we recommend coming to worship and ask for good fortune.
The power of faith, Nakhi Cave 🐍
Naga Cave at Phu Langka National Park, Nakhon Phanom side, Tambon Phai Lom, Amphoe Ban Phaeng, approximately 100 kilometers from Nakhon Phanom city. It's a more comfortable cave walk than Naga Cave, not very tiring. The path is quite shady, cool, comfortable in the cave, the atmosphere is worth believing in. During the journey, walk slowly for a while and you'll reach your destination. Hurry before your legs can't take it. 😆#VisitNakhonPhanom #NagaCave #NakhonPhanom
Arrived at
Arrived at Nakha Cave. It was hard to make a reservation. It took a while to get a day that coincided with my own holiday. First time hiking experience. Most impressed with the atmosphere when we got there. Going with a large group is fun, walking, climbing, and going up the stairs. 😂 It's tiring but so much fun. Everyone should try coming at least once. Pray for blessings. JJ the guide took very good care of us. Grandma and grandkid went with us. The trip went smoothly and the grandma and grandkid didn't look tired at all. There were 7 of us on this trip. We reserved 1 guide for 1:7.

Naga Cave is worth a visit.
#ThamNaka is a cave in Phu Langka National Park, Bueng Khong Long District, Bueng Kan Province. Its distinctive feature is the eroded rock formations, which have patterns similar to snake scales. I would like to review that I have been there before. When I went, it happened to be during the Songkran holiday, but there weren't as many people as I thought. At first, I was worried about whether I would be able to climb up or not. But when I actually got there, the way up wasn't difficult at all. It was easy to walk, but a bit steep. The distance up the mountain is about 2 kilometers, alternating between dirt roads and stairs. There are some parts where you have to pull up the rope (gloves are a must, very important). It was quite tiring, but maybe it was because of my faith that I was able to successfully climb up to ThamNaka. I recommend going in the morning because it won't be hot. And most importantly, don't forget to bring water and food. You'll definitely be hungry. ☺️☺️
Recommendations for those who want to climb ThamNaka
1. Prepare your body before going up because it's a mountain climb, not a flat journey.
2. Shoes should be sneakers for walking or exercising. You shouldn't wear flat shoes. Or flip-flops.
3. Dress should be modest and polite to show respect for the place.
4. Arm bands and gloves are a must.
5. The bag should be a backpack to carry water or necessary items for convenience when walking up the mountain.
6. Smelling salts, balm, fans or portable fans are very important. They help a lot when you are tired.
Items that are prohibited from being brought up are tissue paper, whether wet or dry, flowers, incense, candles, and various offerings.

Naga Cave
1.
Address - Phu Langka National Park, Bueng Kan Province
Highlight - Tham Nakha is located in Wat Tham Chai Mongkhon in Phu Langka National Park, Bueng Khong Long District, Bueng Kan Province. Its distinctive feature is that the cave walls look like the scales of a Naga according to the beliefs of the locals. In terms of science, this place calls a geological phenomenon called "Sun Crack", which is caused by cracks on the surface of the rock and changes according to different temperatures, resulting in marks similar to the scales of a Naga.

Phu Langka
Phu Langka, the sacred land ⛰⛰ The land of the Naga, namely the Naga Cave, with the shape of the natural rocks that look like snake heads, many of them, both in shape and scales of the rocks, which according to legend means that the Naga was cursed. I personally went and it was very beautiful, very sacred, tiring but definitely worth it. #Visit the national park #Phu Langka #Pu U Lue #Bung Kan
Phu langka, a paradise for hikers
Getting There - airplane from Bangkok then driving to 212 street to Ban Phaeng district(about an hour far by car)
Attractions - Phu Langka national park
Hotels - hostel
Phu Langka national park covers the area of approximately 31,250 Rai in Pai Loam Sub-district, Ban Phaeng District of Nakhon Phanom Province. The park covers the layers of three mountains. It is the best to visit from May to October, the rainy season brings the water into the waterfall and stream. Visiting here in winter is not as good as in rainy because there is not enough water to flow in the waterfall. You can also visit Naka cave, where there is sun crack phenomenon of the rock which look like heads of big snakes, which is the origin of the name “Naka”

Nakhi Cave, Nakhon Phanom
Nakhi Cave is located in Na Kae District, Nakhon Phanom Province. It is a beautiful tourist attraction with historical and religious significance. This cave is a limestone cave with various shapes, such as a snake or "Nakhi", which is a legendary creature that is important in Thai culture and Buddhism, especially in terms of the belief in the Naga. This cave is popular with both nature lovers and those interested in legends and religious beliefs. Traveling to Nakhi Cave often involves hiking to the mouth of the cave and enjoying a view of Nakhon Phanom City and the Mekong River from the highest point. It is a beautiful tourist attraction and popular with those who want to experience nature and religious beliefs.
Visit the caves, Amnat Charoen
“We all often complain that we are more tired of people than we are of work.” 🙏Visit Wat Tham Saeng Phet
It is a famous temple for tourism in Amnat Charoen Province because anyone who passes through Amnat Charoen Province will see signs for Wat Tham Saeng Phet all the way. It is a beautiful temple located on a hilltop that is not very high. But when you drive up, you will see a very large parking lot. Near the parking lot, there is a clean bathroom. We should also practice cleanliness because it is a temple. We will enjoy the view of the forest and mountains. Not far from the parking lot, there is a pair of white nagas at the entrance to the church door. There is a way up to pay homage to the golden chedi that stands out prominently on top. Next to the chedi is the reclining Buddha or large reclining Buddha. We went in to pay homage and ask for blessings. It takes 1 hour, which is still not enough. I recommend that you travel to the 4-way intersection of Amnat Charoen Province and turn in for about 20 kilometers to arrive. #Visit Amnat Charoen Cave #Wat Tham Saeng Phet #Amnat Charoen Province #Please follow #Dhamma Traveling Bhikkhu

#Hiking Trip
📍Address: Nakhi Cave, Phu Langka National Park, Nakhon Phanom
🗓️Travel planning: We took a plane to Sakon Nakhon and rented a van with a driver. Stayed in Nakhon Phanom to prepare to go up to Nakhi Cave. This trip was quite well planned to visit as many temples as possible around Nakhon Phanom and Mukdahan.
🏖️Environment/Facilities: Arrived at the entrance of the cave to register and book a guide at around 9:00 a.m.
There is food and drinking water service downstairs, as well as essentials for hiking. The team must stock up on supplies and snacks before leaving.
When we went, it was the summer, which made the soil dry and easy to walk on. But the downside is that it was extremely hot and the waterfall had no water. It had all dried up.
As a spiritual person like us, we were determined to hike just to pray. The guide gave very good advice and explained everything in an understandable way. The distance was about 1.30 hours.
The path was easy and not very tiring. Compared to Tham Nakha, it was much more brutal. We stopped to take pictures and pay homage at Tham Nakhi to ask for blessings.
Then we took pictures. Create content Before returning to the bottom, a little afternoon
It was a happy trip, complete as planned

Feel the mist, embrace the mountains at Phu Langka 🏞️✨
Phu Langka is a perfect destination for those who love nature and peace. Located in Phayao Province, especially tourists who want to experience fresh air and a view of the mountains surrounded by a sea of fog in the morning, Phu Langka will not disappoint you.
📅 The best time to visit
- Winter (November - February) is the time when the sea of fog is the thickest and the weather is cool.
- The rainy season is another good choice because the area is green and fresh.
🚘 Travel
- From Phayao city, it takes about 2-3 hours by private car or rental car. Because the journey to Phu Langka is quite deep, using a private vehicle is the most convenient.
