This strange and amazing beauty of the large stone shaped like a giant snake or a serpent is a must be! It is definitely a great attraction for those who like nature, and a bit of mystery. Outstanding beauty and complexity of the natural rock formations or sun cracks. Highly recommend you reserve your queue first before planning anything else. Flight plan, hotel stay, etc. The hike takes 3-5 hours (average), with steep stairs and rocks. Make sure you carry enough water, some food and tip the local guide. At first, I was worried about whether I would be able to climb up or not. But when I actually got there, the way up wasn't difficult at all. It was easy to walk, but a bit steep. The distance up the mountain is about 2 kilometers, alternating between dirt roads and stairs. There are some parts where you have to pull up the rope (gloves are a must, very important). It was quite tiring, but maybe it was because of my faith that I was able to successfully climb up to ThamNaka. I recommend going in the morning because it won't be hot.
