Charming gem in Luang Prabang
Kuang Si Waterfalls are located in Luang Prabang, Laos. The waterfalls are absolutely stunning, with multiple levels of water flowing into many pools. I was amazed by the largest waterfall, it was incredibly beautiful.
There are different ways to reach the waterfalls. In my case, I rented a motorbike, which allowed me to stop anywhere I wanted to take photos. You can also go by van or tuk-tuk.
The hike to the waterfalls is very easy and suitable for everyone. At the beginning of the trail, there is a bear sanctuary where you can see many bears relaxing in their habitat.
I recommend this activity to anyone visiting Luang Prabang!

It is popular for its multi-tiered cascades of turquoise blue water, surrounded by lush green jungle.

Kuang Si Waterfall: Beautiful green scenery, suitable for a slow day trip
#Waterfall #100 Ways to Travel
Kuang Si Waterfall is located in the suburbs of Luang Prabang, Laos, about an hour's drive away. You can easily find shared rides for around 30,000KPI. If you depart in the morning or afternoon, you can stay in the waterfall area for three hours, and the round trip journey is one hour each. The entrance ticket is 20,000 KPI.
On the way to the waterfall, you will enjoy the beautiful green scenery and the scenery along the way is amazing. After entering the park, you will see a sign introducing the route. When you reach the top of the mountain during the hiking trip, you will find a cave restaurant; the water source is on the mountainside.
In the waterfall area, it is prohibited to go into the water at the main waterfall, but there are several areas open for water play as you go down the trail. Remember to bring your swimsuit and towel so you can escape into the cool and tranquil feeling of the water at any time. The entire hiking trip takes about two hours. Going up the trail, you will first pass the main waterfall of Kuang Si Falls. You can take photos here and then have a picnic on the spot or go down to the water play area. Going further up is the source water area on the mountainside. In some sections, you need to use your hands and feet to climb up, but the whole trip is not difficult and is suitable for a one-day slow tour. On the way back from hiking, you will pass by the Laotian Black Bear Reserve, where you can take a look. Include Kuang Si Falls in your itinerary when visiting Laos.
[๐ฑ๐ฆLaos] Actually, you can see the upstream of Kuang Si Fallsโฃ๏ธwhere the waterfall flows out๐
You can actually climb upstream of Kuang Si Fallsโฃ๏ธ
It would be a waste to just see the falls and go home, so I'd like to introduce you to a secret spot๐คญ๐งก
Actually, if you leave the promenade, look at the main falls directly ahead, and climb the mountain on your right, you can reach the top of the fallsโบ๏ธ
It's a light-hearted trek, so if you've come this far, be sure to try climbing to the top๐โ๏ผ
There are swings and you can play on them, so I recommend bringing a swimsuit ๐ โจ
The water is cold because it's in the mountains ๐คฃ
Upstream, you can get on a wooden boat and experience a mini jungle cruise ๐งก
If you have a driver, you're lucky ๐โฃ๏ธ

โฒ๏ธKuang Si Waterfall
It is about 35 kilometers from Luang Prabang. The highlight is the turquoise water, which flows down the limestone cliffs in 4 levels. The total height is 75 meters, coming together to form an emerald green pool below, earning it the title of #the most beautiful waterfall in Luang Prabang.
If you walk along the nature trail, you will find a "wooden bridge" stretching across a large pool and the scenery of the surrounding waterfall will be a light mist. It is very beautiful. Let me tell you!!! Anyone who doesn't come to take a picture at this point is really missing out.
And before the entrance to the waterfall, there is also a bear conservation center to help bears that have been injured from being attacked, hunted, and from the wildlife trade. Stay in a safe area ๐ป

Luang Prabang, a comfortable life
If anyone wants to experience a chill life, close to nature and ancient culture, I recommend this trip to Luang Prabang, Laos.
It's very easy to travel, no need for a visa. I flew from Chiang Mai to Luang Prabang, it took 1.15 hours and I arrived.
I must say that in addition to being comfortable, it's also easy on the pocket because the cost of living here is cheaper than in our country. Plus, you get special, warm service.
The tourist attractions in Luang Prabang are temples and nature.
This trip, I recommend 2 places to visit:
1. That Phousi is in the heart of Luang Prabang. You have to climb many steps, but it's worth it for the beautiful view.
2. Kuang Si Waterfall. I must say that it's a pity that I didn't prepare a swimming suit because the water is clean and clear, very inviting.
The Wanchana Hotel we stayed at may look old, but the room was very large. There was a living room, a kitchen, a bathroom in the living room, and a separate bedroom with an en-suite bathroom.
How to get around Luang Prabang - Rent a van
Tourist attractions - That Phu Si, Kuang Si Waterfall
Hotel - Vansana Hotel
Restaurant and food - zurich bread factory & cafe
Shopping - Night Market
Lao people really like Thai products. It's a bit difficult to find souvenirs. I recommend Lao beer with many flavors. If you have an elderly mother, you will definitely buy some silk to take back home.
P.S. Zurich Bread Factory & Cafe, even though the name of the shop is like this, but the Luang Prabang papaya salad is really delicious.

Kwang Si Falls, is awe-inspiring with its emerald pools cascading down the falls.
It is located about 50 minutes from downtown Luang Prabang,
and the admission fee is currently 25,000 kip (about 2,000 won).
You need some time to see the highlights of Kuang Si Falls, but the natural scenery and
movie-like scenes along the way will amaze you.
As you get closer to the falls, the refreshing sound of the falls, the light shining through the green trees, and the clear scenery are all awe-inspiring and moving.
As it is a must-see course in Laos, Kuang Si Falls is highly recommended.
Most people come here for a short time,
so you may regret it, so I recommend coming early and enjoying the whole day.
There is a restaurant on the way up the falls, so you can enjoy nature and
Luang Prabang beer. ๐บ I will go again! #Kwang Si Waterfall #Luang Prabang #Laos Travel

The most beautiful waterfall in Luang Prabang
Kuang Si Waterfall is the most beautiful waterfall in Luang Prabang.
It is about 40 kilometers from the city center.
It is outside Luang Prabang.
There are 4 levels of waterfalls, which flow directly down from the top level in the middle of the mountain. If you walk past the most beautiful point, there is a hiking trail that crosses the waterfall, like walking through a mountain. It takes about 2 hours to walk (for those who are not very fit like us). If you are good at hiking, it may take less time.
The entrance fee to the waterfall is 25,000 kip per person, which is about 55 Thai baht per person.
I must say that it is very worthwhile. The water is very clear. There are fish in some spots. You can swim in the water. In front of the entrance, there are many food and restaurants. You can take them to find a corner to sit and eat in the middle of the waterfall.

Laos Valley with Emerald Color
๐Kwang Si Waterfall
Kwang Si Waterfall, considered the most beautiful waterfall in Laos, can be reached from Luang Prabang. There are emerald pools cascading down the waterfall.
It is great for taking pictures with the beautiful water color, as well as for playing in the water. Even if you don't have a swimsuit, the sun is hot and you can walk around wet, but it dries quickly, so I recommend jumping in!

The Kuang Si Falls
The Kuang Si Falls is probably the most famous and visited place in the city of Luang Prabang. It is not near so I will take you about an hourโs drive from the city center. The waterfalls are gorgeous so no wonder why is so popular among tourists. It is totally safe to swim, even for children as it consists of several shallow pools. The water has such a beautiful light bluish-greenish shade, I though the pics about this place were photoshopped but in person you will see those true beautiful colours.
