It was amazing that the tomb of a historically important figure who later became King Ruprecht I of Germany and was deeply involved in the establishment of Heidelberg University and the construction of the church remained inside the church. What was even more surprising was that this tomb was not destroyed during the destruction of the city in the 17th century, so it can still be seen by tourists. The pedestrian paths made of small stones between the buildings built a long time ago seem to give the Old Town a unique vibe as I walk. There are many pretty stone paths, but there are a lot of gaps between the stones, so heels are not recommended.
