2025 Babino Polje Travel Guide: Must-see attractions, popular food, hotels, transportation routes (updated in January)

I visited Mljet while island hopping along the coast of Croatia. Honestly for me, it was one of the most beautiful Croatian islands that I visited. The island has beautiful crystal clear lakes and pristine forests, with many hiking trails. I stayed in a quaint guesthouse with a beautiful view from the balcony (see last picture). One of the most enjoyable hiking days ever and after a long and tiring hike it was wonderful to be able to take a dip in one of the lakes and cool off beautifully clear water.
