If you want to visit the northern part of Awaji Island and the west coast, you can easily get around by bus. There are free and paid buses, but they depart from Awaji Interchange and Iwaya Port Terminal, so you won't have any trouble finding a starting point. The free bus mainly travels around affiliated stores on the west coast, centering on Nijigen no Mori. Please note that although it is free, it is only for facility users. The paid bus is a route bus, but it covers the main tourist spots. Please check the timetable before departing and enjoy your bus trip.

Feeding my inner child in theme park area at Awaji Island
Took us around 2+ hours (2 trains transfer and 1 bus tranfer) from our hostel in Osaka to our 1st destination in Awaji Island island, which is Naruto Park. Easily spent around 2 - 3 hours in Naruto park and went to Godzilla park. after that took a walk around and took a bus back to Awaji Interchange bus stand to take us to Maiko station and take train to Osaka. ❤️

Awaji Island has developed tremendously in the past few years!
With wonderful hotels, shops and cafes constantly opening, it's a hot spot where you can discover something new every time you go.
And if you have a car, you can easily enjoy it in a day◎
But if possible, I recommend spending at least one night and two days to enjoy Awaji Island at your leisure.
First of all, there is "Awabi ware", which sells wonderful tableware.
When I first heard the name, I thought "Awabi? Awabi?"
But it turns out it's [Awaji Island + Beauty = Awabi]. What a wonderful name♡
All of the bright and gentle colored tableware is made in Awaji Island.
It is made in a small workshop on Awaji Island as tableware to be passed down.
The workshop, which used to be a clinic, has a nostalgic feel to it and is very wonderful.
And the place I definitely wanted to visit this time on Awaji Island was Kozora-so.

Spent the last long weekend using a combination of bullet train, car, and public transport to get around the lower western part of Japan. With a small group it was easy to schedule, and splitting different booking responsibilities made planning a breeze. Japanese

A fresh pasta specialty restaurant located on the coast about 10 minutes by car from Tsuna Ichinomiya IC on the Kobe Awaji Naruto Expressway.
As a direct store of the long-established noodle company Awaji Mengyo,
there are about 30 types of fresh pasta displayed at the entrance of the restaurant, with the characteristics of each one written on it.
The great thing is that the prices are also listed, and if there is stock, you can purchase freshly made fresh pasta!

This time we will introduce the Art Yama Oishi Kakuya Museum 🖼️
You can appreciate the works of Oishi Kakuya, an artist from Awaji Island, and his wife.
It is a quiet and somewhat nostalgic art space, and the view over Osaka Bay from the hilltop is spectacular. It is so beautiful that you will think you are somewhere overseas.
The museum is filled with buildings embedded with many stones and wonderful objects and sculptures built by Oishi Kakuya and volunteers over many years.
The building is two stories tall, and the first floor is a display of paintings such as special exhibitions and sales of small items, while the second floor has an exhibition of large paintings.
There are also many other things to see besides paintings, including the wonderful words of Oishi Kakuya.
A revival exhibition of the "Wajima Asaichi Exhibition" ~ Landscapes of my heart ~ is also being held, so you can enjoy small oil paintings, numerous drawings, and many works depicting morning markets and Noto scenery.😊
