Melt-in-your-mouth sushi for a quick first meal in Asakusa, Hinatomaru Sushi.
📍Address: 1 Chome-20-3 Asakusa, Taito City, Tokyo 111-0032 Japan
📍Atmosphere/Facilities: A small standing sushi bar
📍Key Points
Instead of Instagram, I thoroughly searched Google Maps to find this place. They highly recommended the tuna here, and although I've never been impressed by tuna before, I decided to give it a try. The tuna was good, but I couldn't really tell. However, the golden eye snapper and ark shell were insanely delicious. The eel and tuna were decent. You can't go wrong with anything you order here. We stopped after a moderate amount since we planned to snack a lot, but I understand why some reviews mention eating a ton.
📍Average Price per Person: 3,200 yen (Tuna set, golden eye snapper, eel, ark shell)
📍Rating: 4.5/5
💞Asakusa Temple, the legend of sacredness
#TokyoTravel
💌 When you have the chance to fly to Tokyo, in addition to shopping and eating, another thing you can't miss is to intentionally pay homage to the Buddha at a temple.
💓 "Asakusa" or the Red Lantern Temple, as we Buddhists like to call it, because of the legend of its sacredness, whoever comes to pay homage and pray will have their wishes granted.
💗 This place has beautiful architecture. And the temple's distinctive red color, especially the giant red lantern at Kaminarimon Gate, which anyone who comes must stop by to take a picture and return with a great impression.

Sensoji Temple, Asakusa, Tokyo 🇯🇵
Visiting Sensō-ji in Asakusa was an unforgettable experience. ⛩
The moment I stepped through the iconic Kaminarimon Gate, I was captivated by the vibrant energy of the bustling Nakamise Street, filled with traditional snacks and souvenirs. The towering five-story pagoda and the magnificent main hall reflected the beauty of Japanese culture and history. The scent of burning incense in the purification area created a serene atmosphere, making me feel deeply connected to the spiritual essence of the temple.
Sensō-ji is truly a treasure of Tokyo, where the past and present harmoniously coexist
If you want to go to this temple you can take a subway (Tokyo metro Ginza Line) the name of the station is “Asakusa” it is so easy and convenient Or if you are staying in Ueno you can go there by JR Yamanote Line. Ueno station > Asakusa station.

KEEP CALM AND GET KEBABS IN ASAKUSA
#newyearnewtrip
Kebab Factory is a tiny Turkish place right at the entrance of Asakusa Market, so it’s hard not to notice.
We weren’t really hungry, but the crowd outside caught our attention.
We were seated downstairs in a small area since the main one was full.
We ordered the chicken kebab, and it was alright, but nothing special.
Reasonably priced, it's a tourist spot after all.
Opens daily from 11am till 10pm.
