Iioka Onsen ♨️ The rare black hot spring is great

Iioka Onsen is located on the coast near Choshi, a famous fishing town in the northeastern part of Chiba Prefecture.
Its black water is rare nationwide (it's actually brown, but looks black when the bath is deep).
I went to Iioka Onsen Gloria Kujukurihama.
I've stayed at the accommodation before, but this time I used it for a day trip.
There is only one indoor bath and one open-air bath, so it's not very large.
However, since it's not well known, it's always empty, so depending on the time of day, you can have it all to yourself.
You can see the ocean from the open-air bath.
There are many cats living near the hot spring, which is a must-see for cat lovers.
After the hot spring, I went fishing, but unfortunately there were no fish.
It's a shame because last time I was able to catch a lot of small rockfish. .
This is the northern end of Kujukurihama, a spawning ground for sea turtles, where I've seen sea turtles before.
If you want to eat seafood, I recommend a trip to Choshi.
The sardine catch is particularly large here, so sardine sashimi is delicious, and you can also try unfamiliar local fish.
It's a great day trip from Tokyo, so I recommend it.
