Visiting Wadi Rum
Visiting Wadi Rum was an amazing experience. The stunning desert landscape and massive rocks made me feel like I was in a movie. The natural beauty here is breathtaking. The colors and terrain are wonderfully intertwined.
I enjoyed riding a camel in the desert, which gave me the opportunity to explore sand dunes and archaeological sites. That experience was special, especially when I was sitting under the starry night sky.
I also tasted local food at one of the camps, and the traditional dishes were delicious and full of flavor.
If you want to enjoy the beauty of nature and experience Bedouin culture, visiting Wadi Rum is highly recommended. It's a unique and unforgettable travel destination! 🏜️🌌

A Journey through Jordan's Desert Jewel.
My stay in Wadi Rum was a mesmerizing desert experience that left me in awe of nature's beauty. The moment I arrived, I was greeted by the towering red sandstone cliffs, vast golden dunes, and an endless expanse of rugged landscapes. The tranquility of the desert was overwhelming, with only the sound of wind whispering through the canyons.
I spent my nights under a blanket of stars, staying in bubble luxotel . As the sun set, the sky transformed into a breathtaking display of colors, painting a celestial masterpiece. Sitting around a campfire, listening to Bedouin tales and sharing delicious Arabic cuisine, I felt a deep connection to the rich culture and heritage of the region.
During the day, I embarked on thrilling desert adventures. Riding a camel, I traversed the undulating dunes, feeling the rhythmic sway beneath me. Exploring hidden canyons and ancient rock formations, I marveled at the intricate patterns carved by time and weather.
Wadi Rum is a place where time seems to stand still, allowing you to reconnect with nature and find solace in its raw grandeur. It was a short but unforgettable experience that left an indelible mark on my soul, reminding me of the incredible wonders this world has to offer.

Wadi Rum Desert Um Frouth Rock Arch
I came to Arch Rock in the Wadi Rum Desert, Jordan.
This is a famous Instagram spot in the Wadi Rum Desert.
You can actually climb the rock mountain and walk across the rocks that hang like a bridge.
If you ask the tour guide, they will take a photo of you walking across the rocks.
There are scaffolding carved into the rocks when climbing, but it requires some physical strength and there is no fence on the rocks, so be careful as you may fall.

Wadi Rum
Wadi Rum is one of Jordan's most enchanting deserts, featuring magnificent red rocks and endless golden dunes. Traverse the desert in a 4x4 vehicle to feel the thrill of the wind rushing past your ears, or take a leisurely camel ride, as if you were in another world. At dusk, the entire desert is bathed in deep red by the setting sun, creating a breathtaking view. Nighttime offers an excellent opportunity for stargazing, with the Milky Way clearly visible in the light pollution-free environment. Staying in a Bedouin tent, savoring traditional cuisine, and experiencing the local culture is the most unforgettable part of the trip. This place is not only the filming location for the movie 'The Martian' but also a natural wonder that is definitely worth a visit!

Wadi Rum is an attractive spot with red desert and strange rock formations that spread across southern Jordan!
The scenery is like being lost in another world, and it is also called the "Valley of the Moon" ♪
We especially recommend the "Jeep Tour"! You can drive through the vast desert and explore ancient rock paintings and huge arched rocks. At night, the starry sky spreads out, and the time spent around the campfire will be a lifelong memory.

Sunrise in Wadi Rum: A Magical Moment 🌄🌵
Watching the sunrise in Wadi Rum was one of the most breathtaking experiences of my trip to Jordan. The desert landscape transformed as the first rays of light painted the rugged mountains and vast sand dunes in warm hues of orange and red. There’s something magical about the quiet of the desert at dawn, and the air was crisp and fresh, offering a peaceful start to the day. 🌅
As the sun rose higher, the desert came to life, and the colors shifted, creating a dramatic contrast against the silent beauty of the surroundings. The solitude of the desert at that time made it even more special — I didn’t see another soul, just the vastness of the landscape unfolding before me. 🌵
If you’re planning a visit to Wadi Rum, don’t miss the sunrise. It’s a once-in-a-lifetime moment that truly captures the magic of this incredible desert. ✨

Exploring Wadi Rum Village in Jordan 🌄
Wadi Rum Village is a peaceful and beautiful spot, often overlooked compared to the more famous desert attractions. Located right at the edge of the desert, it offers a serene atmosphere and an unforgettable landscape. 🏜️
The village is quiet, with very few visitors, making it the perfect place to take a stroll and enjoy the natural beauty of the area. You can walk through the village and its surroundings, where the views of the mountains and desert are absolutely stunning. 🏞️
One of the highlights of the walk is discovering ancient carvings in the rocks—these petroglyphs or rock engravings are fascinating glimpses into the region’s long history. There are also caves and other rock formations to explore along the way. It’s a peaceful and free experience that gives you a real sense of the desert's beauty. 🌿
If you’re in the area, I definitely recommend taking the time to walk around Wadi Rum Village. It’s a hidden gem that offers a perfect blend of nature, history, and tranquility. 😊

Wadi Rum Afternoon Jeep Tour: A Must-Do Experience 🚙🌅
If you're ever in Jordan, Wadi Rum is an absolute must-see, and the best way to explore it is with a jeep tour in the afternoon. 🏜️ I visited in May, and the weather was perfect—not too hot, making it an ideal time for the adventure. The afternoon tour is the best because the temperatures are milder, and the golden desert views as the sun begins to set are beyond words! 🌞
The tour is an unforgettable experience as you get to drive through some of the most stunning landscapes in the world, with towering rock formations and vast stretches of desert. The jeep allows you to cover a lot of ground, and the guide can take you to hidden spots where you'll feel like you're on another planet. 🌍
This trip was one of the highlights of my visit to Jordan, and I can't recommend it enough. If you're ever in the area, don’t miss out on this incredible experience! 👌✨

Camping at Wadi Rum - Bedouin Camp
One of the best campsites I ever stayed in and some of the fanciest accommodation… in the middle of the desert.
The food was incredible, cooked traditionally in an underground oven.
The tents were beautiful with air conditioning - even though the nights are chilled and calm.
A beautiful, peaceful evening full of stars and great company with the Bedouin people !

Sleeping in the Desert Bedouin Style.
We booked our accommodation and tour through a website. Upon arriving at Wadi Rum, we parked our car and took a 4WD vehicle provided by the accommodation to check-in. The views along the way were stunning. After lunch, we rode camels to enjoy the scenery. The weather was quite hot, and I felt sorry for both the camels and myself 😂
The room had only a bed, and the bathroom was shared. It wasn't luxurious but was clean and comfortable.
The Jeep tour was a joint tour that took us to various spots in Wadi Rum. When we returned, we had a traditional Bedouin BBQ dinner called Zarb, which was very delicious.
The accommodation cost, which included three meals, a one-hour camel ride, and a four-hour Jeep tour for two people, was 130 JOD.

Wadi Rum Experience 🌵🐪
#desert
The desert of Wadi Rum was a dream. We rented a car from Accra and head down to the Red Sea. We spent half of the day there and without losing time we went to Wadi Room to sleep there. We had time to see the sunset with a jeep that took us around the desert. At night we watch the stars with a bonfire. We woke up very early in the morning to see the sunrise with the camels. It was an unforgettable experience.
